Does it make any difference in price whether the stamping is horizontal or vertical? Is the going rate around .00 a square foot? I have a quote from a great company that quarantees their work…but it is coming in at more than .00 a square foot. My driveway is only about 800 square feet and my patio area is around 250 square feet. Is this the problem? Are they charging more because it’s a small job? Or, does it make any difference in price that I’m asking for two different patterns? I need to have an answer tomorrow for my contractor. My contractor won’t let me contact the sub on this. . . That’s why I’m asking you for help!

With all the ‘fads’ today, would it be worthwhile to open a business in one’s home to hold sessions of ‘relaxation’?

I have 6 table top fountains. At my old house I ran them almost every day. I have since moved and kept them pack for the last year because I have been SO busy I have not been able to decorate. I notice that there are serious deposits from water in the bottom of them. I really want to remove them. I have looked online and found many people recommend vinegar or CLR for these types of things.

My concern is there is rubber tubing that carries the water and there is also deposits in them. I want something that I can run through the fountains to make sure all the deposits are out of all the areas. I am afraid both CLR and vinegar will eat through the tubing. I did read the instruction manuals for them all and found no help.

Does anyone know what I should use?

Sorry, something must’ve happened when I was clicking through – now I see several questions and answers.

I have two new neighbors who recently moved into the apartment below me. Our patios are stacked on top of each other. I have no problem with them actually smoking, but when they smoke outside, it drifts up through my patio and into my open window. THey keep their patio door shut to keep smoke from getting into their house, yet it all comes into mine. They are nice people, and I don’t want to start some sort of feud. How do I approach them about not smoking outside . . . I mean its outside?
