I was recently over at my girlfriends place and spilled some antiseptic crystals into the toilet, they stained horribly and won’t come out.

She only knows their name in Russian, they turn purplish when water comes in contact, and are apparently used for minor injuries/cuts.

While initially purple the toilet bowl is now stained black from these crystals and she might lose her security deposit, any way to clean it? (like a bottle of coke overnight or some other trick?)

today I decided to take a stray cat in- I think she is pregnant and she might have been someone’s cat ( she’s very friendly and smart.) but she looks like she’s lived on her own for a while. she’s dirty and she has scabbed up wounds.

I’m saving $ to take her to the vet- but for right now I have Lots of questions.
I’ve never had my own cat- my roomate had one, so i know a bit..
can you tell me why she does these things.

-While I am petting her she climbs up my sholder and rubs the side of her face on mine ( while purring.)
- she lays right next to me and puurs / meows and when I stop petting her
- when I get up , even to go to the bathroom she follows me and waits at the door. If I am up too long she meows.
- She is always looking at me, even if i haven’t moved.

- I bought 2 bowls, wet and dry food, cat box and crystal litter, i put her in the box once, and fed her once- will she remember when everything is?
-I put a blanket down- is that okay for now?

I wasn’t going to – but my neighbor said she might be dirty and I could she could get me sick. ( i didn’t think that cats could spread illness to people, is that true?)

Is it okay to let her sleep on furniture?

One of my fish, a pink kissing gurami, has been getting bit on by other fish. Her name is Cecilia. She has sugar-like crystals on her fins and body. My Mom says this is probably "ick", a disease that fishes get easy. I know I can get medicine for the water, we will do that tommorrow. The fish that we have in our tank are a green spotted puffer, catfish, a little orange fish (not gold fish), and a female guppy. I know, I know. Horrible combination. I’ve tried to convince my Mom to seperate them, but she won’t. We did have a male beta but he got his fin ripped by another fish. We put him in a bowl alone, but soon he died. What should I do? Does Cecilia have Ick? Should I just get the medicine and forget about it?

So anyway, have an albino clawed frog…third one infact. They usually only make it a year or two before they get what apears to be Septicemia. They simply get red and starve themselves, usually then they begin to float upside down, for about 2-4 days before dieing. Currently, my third one, frogger, has stoped eating and turned a rosy red, very much so around the head and front arms.
Heres the setup all 3 frogs have lived in.
Heres the setup of the actual aquarium:
approx. 4 feet long, 2 feet wide, 3 feet high
-7 platic plants
-2 inches of gravel with an undergravel filter below
-approx. 3 foot bubble wand
-Aquarium pump that does about 1.3x more than nessecary to keep the water clean. (dual filters)
-2 small fish, 2 large fish, 2 clams. +my frog
-Ph of 7-7.5
-Temp of 60-75F
All the pets eat Krill….except two fish that keep the slime off the glass

Products used to balance the aquarium:
-EasyBalance by Tetra (once every few months with a water change)
-Stress Coat by aquarium pharmaceuticals (with water changes and a monthly boost just to play it safe)
-Crystal Clear by Aquarium products
-A ph kit with testers by Aquarium pharmaceuticals

So anyway, everyone else in the aquarium is just fine and has been since frog one…nobody else ever gets sick, its just that all the frogs do eventually and they all die the same way…Currently my frog has been sick for about 2 days and obviously is past treatment. When they do get sick, I put them in bowls if 7x the dose of tetracycline and force feed them their krill and GelTek Ultra Cure BX…it never works, just seems to make them last a few days longer.

The symptoms of this crap they keep getting are sudden…one day there happily swimming and eating and the next they are on their backs flaling, starving themselves, with read heads and front limbs….veins are also inflamed looking.

So I guess my question is what am I doing wrong? is there some mirical product I dont know about that will cure them or some thing I can add to the tank on a regular basis to prevent this from happening to another frog? If you dont know of any answers to those questions, then what would be the best way to put him down…is there something I can overdose him on to painlessly have him pass away? Its really hard to watch frog after frog die like this.

They were in bowls as you enter and exit the restaurant. They were roughly 1/4 inch, translucent and pillow shaped.

They had the sugar coated seeds too, but these were just sugar… similar to rock candy, but shaped like pillows.

I have this bowl of jelly crystals (those small balls which expand when you put them in water) and since a few days I haven’t changed their water. So today, while I was going to do so, I noticed some really weird organisms who have made my jelly crystals their home. They are really tiny, barely noticeable to the naked eye. Their even finer than baby’s hair and are transparent. So, I just wanted to know what these things are and how they came to grow in the water…

I need some ideas for decor.. One the bottom shelf we have our xbox 360 games and on either side of them we have some candles in a stand and on the other kinda like our junk bowl, but its a nice crystal bowl. On the second shelf we have our dvd/vcr combo player. on the top we have our xbox 360 on the right side and on the other i have a fish bowl filled up and decorated( no fish though)…
We had our christmas cards we got in the mail on the stand filling up the empty space, but now that i’ve took them down, its just kinda bare..

any ideas?
Oh I forgot to mention! We do have a tree( not sure what kind), but i got it sitting besides the entertainment stand and the movie/lizard stand lol

for a christmas present my uncle always talked about how he liked caviar but never could get much since it was kinda expensive. so for christmas i want to get him some caviar. but i dont know where to get it. i want a nice looking caviar not the kind thats comes in a can the kinda served special or something of course not super expensive. just a good tasting caviar and i can probably put it in a crystal bowl.

I recently got a male betta fish about 3 to 5 days ago and his water has gotten foggy. I changed the water yesterday and it is looking foggy now. Today i went to Walmart and picked up some fish supplies. I got Bowl Buddies Crystal Clear and some small sphere food. I want to know If the crystal clear is safe for my fish. I dropped a drop in and it had no effect. And the Bowl Buddies are small tablets about the size of a button say 1 tablet for 2 gallons of water (Tap) It is supposed to pureify it. And finnaly I got a big WWII tank for him which takes up a large portion of his space but he seems to like it because he is always going in it. And he is a big bubble blower. Every time i walk in my room there he is blowin a bubble.

So please help me find out a little more about those products and a little more about the betta fish

I am past the point whether I care if it is healthy or not..I am severly overwieght. and feel horrible when I eat. and even the smallest excercise makes me out of breath. So All i need to know is if I will lose weight.
