Here in the United States as you know when you enter an elevator that a bell will ring once for the up and twice for the down signal. As you should know, my favorite bell chime for the down signal is the Dover/ThyssenKrupp short-long chime. But pretty recently, KONE, a finnish elevator company, is mostly using a hi-lo chime for the down signal, which is a high note followed by a long note, and Schindler has just done the same.

He sounds great besides the healed injury. I emailed them and they said that he is guaranteed 100% sound for even heavy jumping. They sound so sure… usually I don’t even give horses that have had a previous injury a second thought (because of the discipline I’m pursuing), but they are assuring me that he is completely sound now.

So he really sounds pretty friggin awesome, especially since he is free… not to mention (although I am not color biased!) my dream color. (Chestnut with a big blaze and socks).

I also asked for pictures and they said "No". I was caught off guard, but I asked why not, and they said they don’t have access to a camera, but I’m welcome to come out and see him whenever I feel like it in person. If he wasn’t free I would just walk away because he’s sort of far away to be driving ALL the way there with no pictures to even support his conformation or anything.

No offense… but who in this day and age doesn’t have access to a camera? I mean almost all cell phones have cameras… or couldn’t he borrow one??

What do you think? Do you really think he could be that sound??

We had a mother skunk move under our patio and have her babies. They are now old enough to venture out. One even fell into the window wells and had to be removed by animal control. We put the young one back with the mother and now need to remove all of them.

8 days ago I had a lower molar removed. It wasn’t healing at all so I went back after 6 days. I couldn’t go back any sooner because I was 5hrs away in Spokane visiting family. To make a long story short–my jaw was broken from the extraction and the bone was cutting the underside of my tongue, causing an infection. So I had that peice removed, filed down and I got stitches to hold everything together. That part is healing but I think the places the dentist gave me shots to numb my mouth are infected. It seems like there is a ball in the back of my throat, on the side of the extraction, that is growing larger every day and it stings so bad it hurts to open and swallow. There’s a large lump under my tongue that hurts also. It’s all so painfull that I can’t open my mouth up wide enough to see if there’s pus. I rinse w/salt water + brush 3x a day. What does this sound like? I’ve been on penicillan for 5 days. How long should I give the antibiotic to clear some of this grossness up?
Oh, and it feels like there’s hot water in my ear.

If i for example, hold delete in the address bar i get a series of chimes as the little bastard plugs away at deleting nothing, how do i stop this and is anyone having similar discrepancies?

Gum healing after tooth extraction?
I had one tooth extraction on july 9th, got food in the my gum, the same day it got pulled, had to use something to get it out, this made it bleed of course, then after a week i eat something it went on the side of the area where the tooth was pulled, and made it hurt, but it didn’t start bleeding and even just yesterday it bleed a little, cuz of the way i brushed my gums. I’m a smoker, and was wondering if my extraction site should be closed by now?, it’s been exactly a week and 4 days. It doesn’t hurt, I kept my blood clot, been brushing my teeth 2 times a day, and flossing once a day, and have been rinsing with salt water about 4 to 5 times a day..

^^this was 4 weeks ago…

now: it’s still not completely healed, looks like a little dent, where they pulled the tooth, this sound strange?

I currently have a concrete (cement) patio that is 15′-20′. I have an
8′-20′ area of grass behind it. I want to take out the grass and lay
18"-24" concrete slabs that are about 1 1/2” thick. I would like to leave a couple inch gap between the slabs and put in pea gravel. Is this complex? Please give advice.

K. So that basically says it all. The seatbelt latch won’t hold onto the seatbelt so the ring goes off every like 30 seconds.

I used these a few years back when I got a bad burn at work, and they’re meant to keep burns moist while they heal, and it sounds to me like something like that might work well for a healing tattoo. Like during the day its ok for me to leave the tattoo exposed with lotion on it, but I’m worried about at night, because its on my arm, and I sleep with my arms under my pillow, so I was thinking about using one of these pads just while I sleep. Would that be okay, or would it just mess everything up?

I have a Schoolhouse Regulator Wall Clock. I have followed the directions to get it to chime right but it just keeps going and going. It will stop once in awhile for maybe a minute and then it starts again. I have let it go and go but how long do I need to?? Its starting to get annoying!

My patio door is not sealing properly anymore. It is about 12 years old. The door is square but I believe the house has moved some which is causing gaps. What are my options for getting this fixed?

A) Should I replace the whole assy, door and jam included?
B) Should I replace the jam only?
C) Is there a way to take the molding off the jam and re-adjust the door assembly so that it is square again?

I got my Industrial piercing yesterday. Today when I woke up it feels fine, with just a minor pain coming from the top hole. Other then that I have no pain or bleeding.

The bottom hole looks great its not red, but just a little bit swollen.

The top hole around the piercing is red/purple and quite swollen.
Does that sound like there could be a problem, or is it all part of the healing process?
