Do Any Of You Use Water For Divination?

I have a patterned clear glass bowl I use. Placed on a piece of fabric, I find it as useful as a crystal ball or a scrying mirror. I fill it with water and use a candle for subtle light. Then just gently let the images flow.
Afrowoman–I’ve never heard of the egg… tea leaves… but not the egg.

I try and avoid divination, you never know what you can bring up and sometimes you might not be able to get rid of it.
I don’t like to mess with the unseen forces on this planet.
Of Course you know we use the Oil and Water mix to ward off the evil eye.
I would not be surprised that it does work as well for you…particularly if the fabric is dark; not saying it is or has to be, just saying.
I don’t typically scry for images — for no other reason than I don’t need to; but I know that in lieu of a mirror many people use water darkened with Indian ink — so your clear bowl on fabric would be the same principle.

I can remember my mother using an egg to create images.
She would break the egg into a glass of water and leave it on a outside window sill.
For some reason, she would only do this on Christmas eve.
Yes, images were created…but everyone saw different things.
It didn’t work so well when we came to England though..
as the glass of water would freeze overnight….lol.

No, I don’t use water for divination. There is no scientific evidence that "divination" is possible, let alone that water can be used for it. Nobody has ever demonstrated the divination of knowledge unknown to them in a controlled test, and without a shred of evidence supporting this extraordinary claim I am under the opinion that it is all poppycock.
