Does relaxation music have an effect on cats?

I just started listening to relaxation music while I go to sleep…My cat sleeps with me also. Ever since I started listening to it with my cat,she has be acting funny. She’s been sleeping in weird positions and is more affectionate. Is this an effect of the music?

Could well be, Cat’s respond to different sounds, smells & lights just like humans do. Bless her cotton socks
It may well be. One of mine used to act strange to a tv pro gramme theme tune. Would jump on my lap each time it played and sit down. By the end of the pro gramme he would hav either wandered off or fallen asleep until the theme played then he would be all cuddly again.

I wish my piano playing would have that effect on my cat. Yes the music effects the cat. Like humans cats can be stressed out and stuff (for unknown cat reasons) and when they get relaxed they act happier and more relaxed. Your cat is probably just happier because of the music.
it has some calming effects to my cat my i played soothing piano music and he slept like a log!
