Yes you can adjust it yourself. Here’s a site to tell you how to do it . Very easy!

Or you can unscrew the hands and make it 4 hours ahead and then tighten the hands and set the time by going clockwise to the correct time.
You can reposition the hour hand (they are made to be removable) – or change the ratchet setting on the gathering pallet which is slightly more complicated and involves poking about in the works.
