I think the Patriots(currently 6-1) vs. the Falcons(currently 25-1) is a good bet for this coming season.
My $100 long shot would be the Seattle Seahawks who are currently 40-1.
can’t call it yet b/c the draft hasn’t happened but right now if my fav team ravens gets a wr and cb they should be a great contender again
Steelers & New York Giants—– Steeler would win another squeaker!
My favorite as of right now is the Colts, even with the new coach. Peyton Manning is just awesome and he’s going to be a contender every year until he retires.
My longshot right now is the Texans. I like what they did last year. If Shaub can just stay healthy for a whole year they can really get somewhere.
i know everyone (of course) is saying the pats will be back now that mrs. bundchen is ready to make her return, but i can see arizona making it again, and winning this time. they made a lot of strides this season and will only get better, imo. i know they had a pretty spotty regular season and caught a few breaks, but i think whiz is a great coach that knows how to win.
a loooooooooooong shot? eagles.
even looooooooooooonger? dallas.
looooooooooooooooonger yet? san deigo.
and the looooooooooooooooooongest? browns.
sorry, elkgond.
packers (up and coming, easy schedule, weak division)
I’m having a hard time picking anyone but the Steelers out of the AFC. History has shown that it is tough to repeat… but with their "cake-walk" schedule and the fact that they still have all the major pieces from last years Superbowl run and the entire off season to build on their weaknesses… I have to go with Pittsburgh out of the AFC.
The NFC is more of a crap-shoot. Was the Cardinals run a fluke? What about Matt Ryan? Will he have a sophomore slump, or will he continue to grow off of his rookie success? Where will Julius Peppers go? Will the Panthers be able to overcome the toughest schedule without him? What about Albert Haynesworth? Will he slack off now that he has the "fat" contract? Or will he play up to the dollar signs? Will one of Dan Snyder’s spending sprees finally pay off? Will the Vikings get solid play out of their starting quarterback? Bottom line it could be one of numerous teams out of the NFC. If I had to pick right now, I’d have to hope that the Vikings can get some consistent play out of their quarterback and take Minnesota.
So my pick is Pittsburgh/Minnesota.
My long shot would be Houston out of the AFC… and San Francisco out of the NFC… not huge long shots, as both are in a lot of playoff conversations… but no doubt, long shots for the Superbowl.
Now that Brady is healthy I gotta go with the Pats in the AFC and the Giants in the NFC, Super Bowl rematch.
Ill go with the Steelers and Giants. Pittsburgh will win of course and NOBODY on the planet will ever bet against them in another Super Bowl again. The NFL and the public is falling in love with them again despite all the "criminals" on the team (as I always hear being a Cowboys fan)/
the lions would be a long shot but that’s who I am going with and I am serious I am not kidding
Another year of being a Panther fan, another year of predicting the Panthers in the SB. Their opponents? I’m going to say the Colts. I think it’ll be Indy vs. Pittsburg in the AFC Championship game, and I think the Colts win to go to the SB. But the Panthers will beat the Colts in SB 44, 28 to 20!
"Loooooong shot prediction" - Dolphins vs. Redskins
Going to say Pittsburgh again, somebody has to prove them different..
Buffalo and Dallas. LMAO, NOT!!!!! Longshot pick would be the Chiefs.
SB: NY Giants vs Indy Colts
Eagles vs Patriots
eagles get revenge for the 2004 superbowl and win 27-24
