How do I turn off the seatbelt chime on a ford explorer 2003?

K. So that basically says it all. The seatbelt latch won’t hold onto the seatbelt so the ring goes off every like 30 seconds.

It’s in the manual if you have one. It’s a nine step process that has to be done EXACTLY in order, but it involves the engine running or off, I forget which, the parking brake on. You then insert/remove the buckle several times, then turn the key, then rebuckle it several more times.
Again, if it’s not exact within a certain time frame, like 90 seconds, it won’t work.
If you look under the seat there will be some wires. Find the one that goes to your seatbelt, follow it down to where it plugs into another wire. Unplug it.
