How is my industrial piercing going?

I got my Industrial piercing yesterday. Today when I woke up it feels fine, with just a minor pain coming from the top hole. Other then that I have no pain or bleeding.
The bottom hole looks great its not red, but just a little bit swollen.
The top hole around the piercing is red/purple and quite swollen.
Does that sound like there could be a problem, or is it all part of the healing process?

Swelling is normal and the red/purple colour could just be bruising, though it’s hard to say without being able to see it.
I wouldn’t worry about, if you’re not sure then go back to the piercer and ask them to check it out.
you have just had a 1.6m bars stabed threw your ear i think its allowed to be a little red but this is just part of the healing proses if i was u get a cup fill it with hot water nd sea sat wait for it to cool down a bit nd put it over your ear this may be very akward but that will clear it up and whatever you do put something in you ear becuase u will get an ear infection if it gets any worse give me a message and i will tell u what to do next
