I think that a garden themed wedding will be beautiful – maybe you can do a secret garden theme. Something like this:

Have you found a venue yet? I would look for a rose or botancial garden – check out your local city website. They might have a city garden that they can rent to you for a good price.
For your wedding dress I would pick something with flowing material or maybe something with a few flower embrodiered on them:

I would look for a bridesmaid dress that has the flowing/chiffon material as well. I think it gives it a "earthy" type feel. Like these:

For your colors I would definitely use green paired with either pink, yellow, purple or brown. I personally like the idea of using green and pink.
For your centerpieces you could try to do something like this with the ivy/tree/candles:

Or something like topiary:

Or a centerpiece using ivy and candles:

For favors you can use seeds, like these:

Use nature as your inspiration for color. If you want to do something more "unique" and bold, that’s fine, too.
For a spring wedding, I would stick with white flowers (it just looks fresh to me) like whiter gerberas, white roses, white dahlias, white peonies and stephanotis.
Use nature as your back drop, too. Find a beautiful garden or park and have your vows there.
EDIT – "Details for Inspiration" Our wedding is this May and for favors we’ve chosen sandalwood fans (not sure how warm it might be) but a lot of people will tell you to go etible with the favors (which is a good idea if it’s within your budget).
We’ve chosen sage green and ivory and are getting married under the facade of a chuppah (we’re not doing the entire tent, just the front) and this will be at the end of log pavilion at a local State Park. I only have one attendent and her dress is sage green with an ivory sash and she will carry white gerberas and blush roses. The groomsmen will wear matching vests and ties and Chuck Converse shoes (LOL). My bouquet is white ranunculus and white roses. The corsages and bouttonieres are white roses (except for my FH; matching white ranunculus for him). The centerpieces consist of mirrored plates, river stones and 3 white pillar candles of varying heights as well as tea lights. Hope it helps.
Table centerpieces – instead of a flower arrangement you can get the glass bowls with water and have your favorite flowers floating. You can have tulle surrounding the bowl and even have some more flowers spread out on the table. It looks to pretty when done right and its also alot cheaper. arrangements can get very pricey. there are lots of ways to do it. candles look pretty in them also. if it an evening wedding.
Use Terra Cotta pots with beautiful colored plants as centerpieces…
Use big blooming flowers, like gardenias, freesia, tulips… And plenty of flowers that have pleasant scents (although I would stay away from these if you or important family members have allergies…
If you can celebrate at an actual garden, you would save yourself a lot of stress and $ on decorations…
Name each table after a different colored flower and decorate the table with that color/flower…
have the bridesmaids dress in a deep/lush green color, and carry bouquets with different colored flowers…

well it really is up to yourself what colors you choose, just make sure its colors you like.
for a garden theme I think some nice spring natural colours would work lovely
- sage green and either pale pink or yellow
- pale greens and aqua blue

So i am guessing you are having a ceremony or reception in a garden?
I suggest using garden material for decoration,
e.g. filling watering cans with flowers
Outdoor lanterns (filled with flowers or a candle)
large bird baths with water and floating candles
Parasols (shade from sun)

heres some nice favour boxes

I love the idea of colorful teapots filled with flowers (Gerbera Daisies) and used as centerpieces. Gerbera Daisies would also be beautiful for a bouquet.
Little packets of seeds would be a great favor check out this website: favorswithseeds.com
Im doing my colors in a rainbow theme with bright pastel yellow orange pink and green. Centerpieces will be floating flowers in a silver mini-washtub with flowers around the bottom. Nothing fancy but certainly not plain!
soo hard… im doing the same but for a beach.. instead of a veil. you can have flowers put around your head in a crown. its so pretty. and for mine. im going to buy a bunch of flowers and put a couple together for me and tie with ribbon and same for the girls. and thats our bouquets. good luck!
