My son is 10. What is a good idea for an Easter basket. Of course I got the chocolate bunny and eggs.?
But any creative ideas? My mother when we got to be in our 20′s would put my sister’s and my easter chocolate bunny and eggs in a crystal bowl for each of us. I still have that crystal bowl in my china closet. Oh and we would have to hunt for our baskets even at 30. What wonderful memmories. I would really like to start a tradition with my son.

egg and soldiers!
Do a hunt using cryptic clues and have a basket filled with chocolate, fruit, sweets and little £1/$1 gifts
well kids thick easter is specail it is they still show the film easter paradie with judy garland and fred astare
Put a surprise gift in the basket, and maybe a treasure map for a treasure hunt or easter hunt. You can hid cules and mini eggs, that lead to the treasure. Which could be anything from money or just a giant easter egg
.
That what my mom does with my little brothers and they love it.
It sounds like you had a wonderful mother and a good life. I’m sure you’re giving your son all that and more. I guess if it were my son, I’d make sure he understood what Easter was all about by taking him to church or to see an Easter musical production or show.
And…he may not be too old to leave half-eaten carrots with the tops left on…and some dirt…and little bunny tracks in the dirt…in the kitchen!
ADDITION: Thinking about your mom’s great idea of using a crystal bowl, maybe you could use a bicycle helmet or a baseball cap with his favorite team’s logo on it?
