As soon as I saw this message I was keen to answer it. Have you seen Mamma Mia? The Abba themed movie that came out recently with Meryl Streep etc etc. I loved their dresses, oh they were beautiful. But one idea that I really thought was nice was the little paper lanterns hanging from the vines overhead. I think it was bouganvillea above. And fairy lights and little tiny pretend butterflies attached (I dunno if that was in the movie, maybe my mind embellished a bit) sounds like a good movie to get out for a girls night in preparing. Also, paper umbrellas (asian ones) or silk ones (‘parasols’) look amazing in photos with the sun setting behind them. Two of my friends had fish in fish bowls, but make sure they get good homes at the end of the night. I rescued a goldfish from being killed. And I still have little ‘Sprightly’ lol. At one reception they had sparklers which everyone was given to wave when the bride and groom made their entrance. Another great one in photos and kids loved it. (So did I…)
PS: As a wedding cake, a 3 tier stand with little lemon muffins (friands) topped with an edible flower or daisy. So pretty.
I don’t have a photo but I can desribe something I saw that was super cute. The tables had tall glass vases/tubes on them with large arrangements of flowers on the top. Inside the glass tube they had fake butterflies in all colors "floating" around (they were attached to fishing wire attached the the top of the vase to give the effect). The flower arrangements were all huge gorgeous wildflowers and roses and the florist stuck butterflies and dragonflies on wires in them to make them look like they were "floating" as well. They were very well done by a really good florist, they were adorable! Maybe you could use something from that idea.
Good luck!

I had a gorgeous spring garden wedding – then it rained! Whatever you choose make sure everything can be moved undercover quickly if necessary. Good Luck!
Hey there, We got married in September and my best source of ideas was the cosmo bride, you can see there theme online I am sure you will find something from them, I found loads from there. http://www.cosmopolitan.com.au/cosmo-bride.htm but there magazines were the main source, it is amazing.
Essense is who I got my dress from they have amazing dresses.
Alfred Angelo for the bridesmaids dresses, if you buy your dress and bridesmaids dresses from same store check out if you can get discount on bridesmaids dress?
I just kept everything simple and I saw one thing and based the wedding theme around that.
My biggest help was to carry a book that fitted in to my hand bag and I wrote every thing in there, store phone numbers, lay-by numbers, ideas, guest list, you’ll be surprised how much it helps you out.
Enjoy your planning to the most amazing day of your life.
Where do you live? That will dictate some of what you do.
Choose flowers that will be in season. We had a spring garden wedding and the Wattles were out. Use typical spring colours- green and yellow for Australian wattle or pinks and whites for apple blossom and these are available in fake flowers. And spring bulbs! Hyacinth, daffodils, tulips,lily-of-the-valley,freesia etc. Anyone good at sugar craft can make copies of these for the cake- be careful of using real flowers on food as many are poisonous.
birds in their nest could make good favours, using sugared almonds as their eggs.
Spring is great as it is a time for new life. If you are outside weather can be unpredictable, so if possible have some shelter or alternative location. If a public park or garden there may ber rules regarding putting up a shelter. BYO umbrellas!
Sounds like a great idea for a wedding. Here are some sites that might help.

Also do you have any one to make your invitations, because i know of someone makes beautiful invitations at a really reasonable price.
Hello there – I work in the events industry, and there are countless options available to you for ideas and inspiration. This can all become confusing too! Whatever theme you are considering, can I suggest going with environmentally friendly options. For example, you might decide to use fragrant dried flowers or in-season flowers from your or a friends’ garden instead of mass-produced and expensive fresh ones. Or, you could even use living plants as centrepieces or bonbonniere, so you get double value by being able to have stunning table decorations and the added bonus of giving living gifts to your guests too. Consider using pre-loved dresses – this may sound a bit unappealing at first, but when you think about it there are some stunning pre-loved outfits around and this option could save you a stack of money. Anyway, I hope this has given you something to think about, and good luck!
What about lace umbrellas and fans?

Buy some bridal mags for ideas
do you really want a wedding designed by strangers on yahoo answers – perhaps you can get a sponsorship deal
where do you live as well? Sydney, Australia has some great bridal boutiques
Check out the movie ‘Mamma Mia’. The wedding reception scene has some lovely ideas, especially liked the rustique lanterns with hanging butterflies which appear in several scenes. This is a more simple, do it yourself type vibe that could be achieved on a budget. Have fun and all the best for the future.
yellow & white frangipannis with gypsophilla halo type headwear is so pretty & fresh and smells divine (for the bridesmaids) and goes with any colour dress. Any good florist should be able to make them to fit each individuals head. I saw this once when I was doing a floristry apprenticeship (which I never finished) and it still is the absolute most loveliest brides maids things I’ve ever seen
You could just google it or buy some wedding magazines. Mine would be Gothic style with Count Dracula for the groom and Morticia for moi. Thanks God I put everything of value under Trust.
Have you thought about a "butterfly release"
you can have a butterfly in a box given out to guests who open and release and make a "wish" for your future- dove releases are also lovely
