Looking to have a nice garden with lot of colourful flowers & design for front & back yard.

How can I keep out the grass which has grown in between
the 36 inch sq concrete blocks which rests directly on the ground in my backyard? My yard is not large, 50% of the back yard has stone laid out to form a patio setting. It was picture perfect when I moved in a year ago. Now its very long and grassy. My neighbours yard has patio stone too which still look great, how do they do it (without asking directly out of embarassment) ?

I want a patio in my back yard. How do I get the bricks into the ground level?

I am updating my back yard and I want to redo my patio in the easiest way possible. Right now it’s just an old concrete slab about 20 by 15 feet. It’s not completely level but it’s not bad. I wanted to use the concrete as a base for pavers or stone but I am unsure how to do it. I am estimating that the new patio will be 2 to 3 inches above the old concrete. Is this possible?

I want to build a patio made of flat stone in my back yard. I’m just wondering what is the best base for the stone, and what I should use to fill the spaces between the stones like sand or maybe morter. I also want to know what I should use for the perimeter or border of the patio

I want to build a patio and small cabana in my back yard, large enough to hold a table and chairs, and maybe a grill. However, I want to do what I can on my own without paying thousands for someone else to do it. I want it to look nice but not necessarily expensive. Are there any books or ways to go about this? I’d like to create a white themed garden that looks pretty at night and will blend in my back yard corner area. I know that the moonflower is a good choice for a running vine. Are there any white flowering evergreen shrubs or other choices I can choose from also? I think that white is elegant and relaxful for a garden setting.
