I’m wondering if anyone knows of a place in the Milwaukee, WI area where I could get a singing bowl. I’m looking for one that is in tone "A." I have checked a couple shops, and they only have a one or two different bowls. Any ideas? Thanks!

The place I am having my reception already had centerpieces that I we could use..

Bowl, floating candle, crystals at the bottom. I added to this a light up ice cube that will make the bowl the colors of our wedding..

The problem is we just found out these bowls are TINY compared to the table. So I need to figure out something to enhance this.. I am NOT changing the bowls but what can I do to add to the centerpiece to make it look nicer and the right size for the table…

So yesterday I guess earlier in the day like 11am 12pm-ish until around 9pm 10pm-ish my friend who came in from out of the states and i decided to smoke/snort some crystal. we split one bowl and we were still not where we wanted to be. i believe my tolerance yesterday was pretty damn high and hers too. last time i used was a couple years ago but i was an alcoholc so the comedowns didnt seem to phase me or not that i can recall. we split the one bowl in an oil burner. then gradually went on to take a line each and snort that. still not feeling as much as we wanted we had 2 more bowls that we split with 3 heads. but it was good shit and lasted a while. i felt amazing up until around 5 AM when i couldnt sleep. still havent. today i just have a mild to medium stomach pains. eating sounds awful. also clenching of the jaw which has left it sore. tingles and stinging sensations. itching of the scalp. none of these are TOO extreme but just bothering me. especially my stomach. i still have ecstacy in my system from 2 days before. i think i could be feeling ALOT worse right now but i dont. im exhausted from days of walking but im trapped inside a body that refuses to let me sleep. my nerves are a little out of wack. and a little numbess and soreness on the feet.

so i guess what i really want to know is,
will this get worse and worse or fade away?
and when do you think ill be able to sleep and for how long?
how long will this last?
and what can i do to ease it up? besides weed or heavy pain killers.

and ive been drinking lots and lots and LOTS of water and peeing maybe every hour to eery other hour. i had 1 and a half slices of toast and some tea.

save the lecture for someone who cares. my tolerance is high enough for me to know what i can or cant handle. and my use yesterday was only for that occasion.

PS. my friend who was with me is feeling NONE of this. she still feels awesome and also hasnt slept. she weighs a lot less and is much shorter though.

i think itll hit her. but its got me right now.

Ok, I have 3 female bettas and one male betta…well…. HAD… each in their own gallon bowl…yes shame on me for that, I kept up with water changes and kept their water crystal clear.
I figured out the male, which I have had since november, has had a fungus… I figured this out about 2 months ago, and have been trying to cure him with Jungle Fungus Clear. The fungus quit growing on him, but it was still in the water, so I kept up treatment. Today I noticed that it was in one of the females’ bowls and so I freaked and did immediate water changes.

The two without the fungus, I changed their water as normal except that I dissolved a very small amount of salt in their water by taking about a cup of water and dissolving 1/8 tsp. of aquarium salt in it… then I only put about 2 tsp. of that water in all 4 of the bowls, by adding about a 1/2 tsp. every 15 minutes.
The male hasn’t had anything in his bowl except water (duh) since I started treatment, so of course, I only put water back in the females bowl too. The salt was a new thing this time around.

Yes, I dechlorinated the water with the proper measurements! And reacclimated them to their water before puting them back in the bowls. The female is kinda skittish so I tried to give her somewhere to hide since she didn’t have her plants and weighted a cup down on the bottom of the bowl after rinsing it extensively…. maybe it still had soap on it?

When I found the two dead, they were coated with a sort of white…. film… it didn’t look like the fungus from before…. is this normal or did something perhaps react with something else?

The only things I did different were the cups and the salt…. so I’m guessing those are the problems. Has anyone had any experience with the fungus med.s and the use of aquarium salt? Did I perhaps do something wrong with those?
Sorry this is so long…. The male and one of the females died. The other two are perfectly fine and healthy, no fungus, no weird behavior or anything.

-_- goldfish live 20 years… bettas 5…. I had him 6 months! He was young when I bought him…. and the other two with the salt are perfectly fine…. thanks though. They don’t just die… they went from fine other than the fungus which wasn’t hurting their eating habits or behavior, to dead in a couple of hours. It was something I did, I know that. I want to know what so I can keep it from happening in the future!

today I decided to take a stray cat in- I think she is pregnant and she might have been someone’s cat ( she’s very friendly and smart.) but she looks like she’s lived on her own for a while. she’s dirty and she has scabbed up wounds.

I’m saving $ to take her to the vet- but for right now I have Lots of questions.
I’ve never had my own cat- my roomate had one, so i know a bit..
can you tell me why she does these things.

-While I am petting her she climbs up my sholder and rubs the side of her face on mine ( while purring.)
- she lays right next to me and puurs / meows and when I stop petting her
- when I get up , even to go to the bathroom she follows me and waits at the door. If I am up too long she meows.
- She is always looking at me, even if i haven’t moved.

- I bought 2 bowls, wet and dry food, cat box and crystal litter, i put her in the box once, and fed her once- will she remember when everything is?
-I put a blanket down- is that okay for now?

Ok so instead of getting super sappy on my wedding day and reading poems and singing songs in memory of my father and making it all about him instead of my hubby to be and me, we decided to do a memorial vase by our guest book. Instead of putting a candle or flowers into the vase we are setting up bowls of different colored stones so that everyone can take a moment and remember their lost loved ones by placing a colored stone into the vase. I really want to post a poem of some kind to go with this little extra memorial ceremony to explain to the guest what the vase is for. Anyone have any ideas or web sites they can suggest

I’m 15 and my sister is 11. I can’t leave her alone at home when my parents are out. I was allowed to stay home when I was 11. It’s because my sister is scared. She still cries when my mom has to go to work and leave her home. When she is home alone it’s for no more than 30 minutes. During that time all she’ll do is eat and watch TV. We have a table in between our couch and TV which is almost completely covered with chips, snack wrappers, bowls of cereal, etc. It’s an amazement how she stays skinny. She also has a very slow social life. She rarely goes to friend’s houses. She’s extremely shy in public. Also I get woken up in the middle of the night by her yelling and crying for my dad because she has to go to the bathroom but doesn’t walk the 10 steps in the dark by herself. my dad has to go because she’s so scared is she doesn’t she’ll wet the bed. When I have to watch her at home she’ll start getting bored and singing/making random noises in the house really loudly. I can’t hang out with friends because of her, I’m losing sleep because of her, not to mention the really loud noises are really annoying. Someone please help.

When I bought her I thought it was a boy because she was brighter that the other bird [the colors are more faded than the usual gray cockatiel though] but then when I noticed the bars under her tail and dots under her wings i thought it was a female. BUT ever since me and my friends watched a funny movie she started making laughing sounds, she imitates my little kiss noises i do to get her to sing, and well, she sings every night, now she started doing it all day, also, today I noticed that she was very vocal and attacking her bell toy with fluffy ropes she usually rubs her head against. One more thing, she has this one distinct whistle she does, she whistles this two note tune and raises her wings into a heart shape at the same time, usually facing her toys. Wait, one other thing, she loves to do the danger shriek [ I recognized it when i first got her, she did it when she was scared or around something new] she does it every weekend at 6 or 7 until i wake up, sometimes even after her bowls were refreshed she’d keep screaming until 10, is it a boy girl or a girl with the rare singing/annoying talent?
she also knows the wolf whistle, its worked into her songs

They were in bowls as you enter and exit the restaurant. They were roughly 1/4 inch, translucent and pillow shaped.

They had the sugar coated seeds too, but these were just sugar… similar to rock candy, but shaped like pillows.
