Since we adopted our stray cats as kittens they have been using our cement patio right outside our door as their litter box. I have tried using bleach and other cleaners to get rid of their scent with no luck. They even have done this on top of 2 feet of snow. My two young children like to play in this area and I want to deter the cats from going here anymore. I have plenty of yardspace. Any ideas?

I’m building a chain link fence across my property, at one point it crosses a cement patio. What is the best way to make neat holes in the patio without destroying it. One friend told me a jackhammer, and someone else said something about an auger. please help!

I have this white fuzzy mold growing on my patio and I don’t know what to use to get rid of it. I’ve read that bleach doesn’t work. I’ve sprayed some lysol on it but the smell is rather strong. What can I use to make sure that I get this mold under control. I like to go out there and sit sometimes but now I don’t feel safe. The mold is growing on the cement from the rain. Any ideas?

I need to redo a small cement patio. Some tell me I can pour over new cement about 2" deep and it will be good. Others say I need to chisel it all away and begin again. It has 3 wide cracks in a "y" formation, and is pretty old. 12 years I think.

We live central FL and need a larger patio area which when later budget allows would add screening around it. Does anyone have idea how much it would cost to have cement poured per square feet?

I’ve made several sand casted garden ornaments with concrete. The surface is relatively rough which is fine for some things. However, I want to create a smooth surface without using a mold (I want each object to be different).
I was hoping that someone who was an expert in concrete work could tell me if it were possible to sand cast objects, then remove them from the sand mold and create a smooth outer surface by using a slurry of cement and fortifier to create a layer over the top?
Would this work? What other products/techniques would yield the kind of result I’m looking for?

I want a patio but cement is so expensive. Is there something that can be done that looks good and doesn’t cost as much?

I understand after time rust will form on the patio cement underneath because it is wrought iron, but what can I do to prevent rust forming on our cement? I don’t like the idea of artificial grass, etc….
the patio itself isn’t rusted, but the issue is this. after time when it rains the rain drips off the wrought iron causing rust on my cement. how di prevent this.
