ok my moms best friend just died from cancer.she had it really bad in her lungs, bones, hips, tail bone, spinal cord and brain!! and she passed away recently!! her usband who is also my mom and dad’s friend is having a very hard time accepting his wifes death!!*&&* i was also having a hard time accepting her death soo… i wrote some poems to her… here are the two poems… I Miss You!

May is drawing near and of course, that means mothers day is near as well. That also means that i need help on finding a gift. I have options for you to decide on:

A – breakfast (made by me) and a card
PROBLEM:
my mom’s on a diet

B – windchimes
PROBLEM:
she has a lot of windchimes

so which one is it? A or B? and why?

*If theres nothing that you want of the choices that I made, were going to Hong Kong this week—if i could by a gift there, what kind of gift? why that? any idea how much that is?

I was watching a movie on my computer and then shut it off and clicked on a song to play (both using Windows Media Player) and now there is no sound! I tried to bring up the movie I was just watching and now there is no sound on that either! The computer is still making sounds and chimes for the actions such as minimize and maximizing a window and such, but nothing else. I restarted the computer and made sure that everything was plugged in but still no sound! What is wrong!?

Hi, I have a 40 GB Dell inspiron 4150 notebook hard drive that is no longer under warranty. I was using my laptop when one day it decided not to boot. "no hard druive found" So, I purchased an external 2.5" notebook hard drive enclosure to see if I could salvage my files, try to use Ghost to clone to new drive etc. When I connect the hard drive enclosure to my desktop to try a backup before a clone, Windows chimes in saying that there is new hardware found and I see the icon for a Generic USB Disk USB device is there, but it will not recognize in My Computer. I have tried checking for its presence using Disk Management, a drive letter does not show up. In device manager, the USB device is listed there, and in its properties,but is unusable "This device cannot start. (Code 10) ..Any ideas? I’d hate to loose my music and pix, and would really like to just clone this HD .Thanks..

My roommate and I moved in to a new house about 3 months ago. After about a week in the house we noticed a small floral-patterned hand-carved disk attached to the bottom interior side of our front door. The box is about 6 inches in diameter and 3 inches thick. There is a string coming out of the bottom of the disk which, when pulled, activates chimes in the box which play "Jingle Bells." I have several theories as to what purpose this music box served, but none of them very good. Any ideas?

Does anybody know the Chinese character for "flight"? That’s flight as in what a bird is capable of. Hopefully you’ll be able to give me a link to the symbol somewhere on the web – I’ve been unable to find it.

Also – I have found other characters for "honor", "loyalty" etc. and it seems there may be more than one character making up a word. Is that right?

I’m going to paint the symbols on a wind chime and want to be certain I’ve put the right things on. Basically, the wind chime will have the symbols for the things that are most important in my life right now. As the chimes are vertical, I’d need to paint one symbol in the character above the other. Is the one on the right or left the one to go on top?

I’m talking about those 15 second commercials mtv2 plays late night that has your local cable company’s logo and shows a localized line-up of concerts or 1 particular band thats passing through. It sounds like random noises/sounds, not really even a beat to it. A loud distorted keyboard sound, some chimes maybe. I used to hear this kinda stuff late night on college stations sometimes. It was called Noise or Ambient maybe? Does anybody know what I’m talking about, and where I can find more of this music. It’s great to sleep to/smoke to. etc.
