I have several small places around my yard where I want to plant flowers, but I don’t have a clue how to mix and match and arrange the plants so they create a pleasing color scheme and organized pattern of flowers.
Any tips on how to arrange colors, flower types, designs, etc?
Oh, and I’m going to be planting drought-hearty flowers.

What are the decorating trends this year/or season for a home? What room scents are the most popular, candles, incense, etc. What flowers are popular for Fall and Winter(store bought of course)? What colors are in as far as wall color and general room color of the furniture to the decorations? I am oblivious when it comes to designing and decorating I could use a little bit of help please. Thanks! =)

Hi! I have a small plot in my backyard that is the shape of a half circle. Its about 8×4 9×4 ish. So its not a tiny vegatable garden but its not huge. The straight side of the half circle is also one of the sides that create our sqaure concrete patio. So it comes right off of the concrete almost creating this shape— [ ]D. I thought a path right through the center surrounded by flowers maybe with stones. But im not in love with the idea. I love colors, i live in in seasonal new jersey and the plot gets a good amount of sun with slight shade from a near by tree. Any ideas would be sooo appreciated, pictures would be beyound helpful. Nothing to extravagant though, im only 16 =]
Thanks!

Im making a windchime in ceramics (class im still in highschool). I have to make a base, clanger (not sure if thats the official name but its the thing that hits the chimes), and a weight.
As my base im going to do a dragonfly on a lillypad that looks like this:

Does anyone have a suggestion on what i should make the clanger and weight? It has to go with the colors and the theme (which includes bugs n stuff…i was thinking about doing ladybugs but that doesnt go very well).

I am moving into a home with a cute little side, covered patio. It is rectangular with several small trees on the side. Nothing special. Just some concrete and a wood cover. I currently own some nice deep green plastic chairs and a white bench with table. What colors would you recommend spray painting them? All the same color or separate? Dark wicker planters, stone planters, and a medium stone waterfall will be coming with me as well. Thank you!

I need help thinking of ideas for centerpieces, decor, favors, etc. for my reception. The reception is going to be held in a garden and we’re serving an afternoon tea. My colors are red, ivory, and champagne and the theme is sort of Rustic/ Vintage/ Garden-y. I’d like some simple and elegant decorations. Any ideas? Pictures would also be appreciated.

It will be outside in the evening & the reception will be at night. I don’t really have a theme as of right now nor do I have any colors picked out. I want lots of lighting & I want glittery, sparkly & shiny decor. I was thinking either an evening garden them or a "cool" (as in temperature) theme with cool colors like ice blue, white, silver, etc.
Any ideas for decoration, colors, themes, flowers, etc. would be greatly appreciated!
