i have a 8x 10 peice of my yard that i would like to put a patio on. the only problem is that it retains water no matter which way i slope it. if its level or sloped either way it holds water. what should i do about the water and what material should i use to build my pation i was thinking either concrete or paver. your suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I have a figure of frog that is a ornament for garden and made of concrete, its height is about 10 inches and weight is about two pounds.
I like frog and I have many figures of it except for that figure.
One day, I fell it on the concrete ground and broke its ankle of left foot and right leg, but I had left it as it was because it was tiresome to fix it. A few months later, I injured my ankle on outside of left foot during taking a walk with my dog in the park near my house. That is pretty serious and it hasn’t cured completely even now. I think my injury was concerned with that frog figure, so I fixed it with some concretes in my garden today although cold wind had been flowing.
10 inches tall, drop, paveent, heal, too much trouble, be related to, fix O up with, even though, mentioned before, outskirts, be hurt, have something to do with O, there was cold wind flowing, weigh, knock it onto, be linked to, chilly wind, I say thank you for all answerers!

I just bought a house and can’t extend the patio yet. It is a very small patch of concrete, but the yard is huge. I’m in Oregon and it rains a lot. What kind of patio furniture other than a picnic table can I put on grass that would look kind of nice? I could do just a tiny 2 chair bistro set, but what about when there are a lot of people over? Any ideas would be helpful. Thanks!

Or should the existing patio concrete be removed and pour new slab?

My patio concrete is all patched up, and looks patched up. I want to put down indoor/outdoor carpeting, but my husband thinks that it will get full of mildew from the rain since it is in complete shade. Any suggestions, that don’t cost a fortune?

I saw an article last year in a magazine, with a patio with irregular shaped pieces of concrete that looked like flagstone. Then grass grew in between the (pavers). The article said the pieces that were approx. 3′ x 3′ and they were (cast in place). What does that mean? Could I just dig areas in my lawns and pour in concrete to make a "flagstone" patio? If so how deep should they be,How do I prepare the ground underneath? Should I add anything to help strenghten the concrete.
Thanks ham m But I don’t mean any kind of paver you can buy. What i want to do is make my own quite large sections of concrete right on the ground surface, by digging out say 4-6 inches of earth and pouring cement in the area to make an irregular shaped "flagstone". I want to end up with a patio that is approx. 15′ x 20′, I also would like to leave 3" spaces between these pavers for grass to grow

I am moving into a home with a cute little side, covered patio. It is rectangular with several small trees on the side. Nothing special. Just some concrete and a wood cover. I currently own some nice deep green plastic chairs and a white bench with table. What colors would you recommend spray painting them? All the same color or separate? Dark wicker planters, stone planters, and a medium stone waterfall will be coming with me as well. Thank you!
