We have a small garden and added corn to it this year. A very windy storm came through yesterday evening and now most of the corn has fallen over onto the rest of the garden. Any ideas or is it even possible to fix it? Thanks for your help.

Mr. Gomez is planning a garden. He has fertilizer to have a 100 ft 2 garden. he would like to plant twice as much corn as cabbage. However, half of the garden must be reserved for potatoes.
A. calculate the perimeter of the garden for each design.
B. Mr. Gomez would like to add a 6 inch border around the garden. explain how this border would affect the total area of the garden in each design.

I’m new at gardening and I don’t have much of a lawn space so I going to have a container garden; but need some help with designing it.
My container garden will be on my porch, it’s not very small but not huge either. I say it’s about medium size, more towards the small size but not tiny. I have a red porch.
Here is a list of the plants I will be growing:
strawberries, tomatoes, cucumbers, broccoli, peas, lettuce, dwarf blueberries, celery, peppers, grapes, dwarf cantaloupe, corn, carrots, and cauliflower.
What would be the best type of pots to get? (terra cotta, plastic, etc.)
A mix? Any ideas?

theyre only about a foot high right now but I’ve never had corn to the point where they were ready to be harvested. I’d like to know if i should thin out the stalks that are close together (I planted about 4-5 seeds in every hole I dug to avoid bad seeds, and a few holes sprouted more than one stalk) and when they will be ready to be harvested come fall? should I put up wooden stakes to keep them from falling over when they get taller?
it’s just a few stalks, maybe 10-12, and the corn would just be for eating when they’re ready to be picked

I live in South Texas and am home gardening. My plots are so-so.
For example: Planted corn in March, it is under two feet. Two month-old Okra is four inches high.
The watermelons are just sitting there.
I had some good results from some beans, but overall, it’s not doing much.
How about anyone else?

I have a circular garden area that I have perennials in the summer. It has medium sized rocks surrounding it. I need a fall design that uses such things as hail bills, corn stalks, scarecrow, etc. Does anyone have a picture of a good display of these for in front of my house?

Our family is taking on a piece of land that is 100 x 100. We have two water sources. We were thinking about putting a connected PVC pipe that is about 100 ft long with holes at the end of the row. Do you think that that will work? Any other ideas on watering such a big garden?
We are planting a garden as my question said…Veggies, corn, etc…

I get all these catalogs (Jungs, Gurneys, etc.) that have the sugar enhanced varieties and I would like to know what you think is the best corn to plant. With a crop of corn, you only have one shot so I want to make sure it is really sweet.
What seed do you reccomend?
