I got my bellybutton pierced on Saturday, June 26, and I just want to make sure I don’t have any early signs of infection or anything..
It is sore, like when ever I move my stomach it aches, slightly.
It is very itchy, but whenever I get cuts or anything, and they heal, they get very itchy, so I think that’s how my body reacts to the healing process.
The top hole keeps getting little crusties around it, and is dry looking, and slightly pink.
That’s basically what’s going on with my piercing.. does it sound alright?
Oh, and I clean it 3-4 times a day with a saline solution, and 1-2 times a day with mild soap (as instructed to do so by my piercer)
Thanks!!

I just need to change this one , I need to be wearing a retainer
if I did change it , I’d do it after taking off the crusties while in the shower and I wouldn’t change it for the duration of healing
sound okay ???

Last wednesday I had both of my nipples pierced. I was expecting to have a sore recovery with a lot of swelling, but, I’m not having any of it. It didn’t swell, there aren’t any "crusties", there’s no discharge, it doesn’t even hurt! I actually slept on my side the night I got it done.
I guess I’m sort of worried that something is going wrong because the healing seems TOO good, if you know what I mean. Does everything sound okay? I just don’t get it, I thought (and read everywhere) that pierced nipples heal very painfully. Is it okay?

I’ve had a cartilage piercing since nearly the end of december & I’m not sure whether it has healed or not. It hasn’t been sore apart from about 4-5 hours after I’d been pierced. There’s no soreness, crusties or anything. My other 1 was sore for about 3-4 months afterwards. Does it sound healed?
