My dog is pissing me off. Help!!!?

I have a year old lab/greyhound mix that has an enormously large backyard, lots of soft and hard chew toys and 3 friends to play with (one dog, two cats). He won’t stop chewing my blankets, garden decor and other things. He also won’t stop digging. And it’s not that it’s hot or that there are animals we need to worry about. It is totally pissing me off and I have no idea how to stop it. I have tried putting him on a lead and he just digs holes around him bc he’s pissed off. We have tried giving him the run of the backyard with a warm place to go to sleep in. We have tried many things. HELP!!!
I have tried keeping him in the house but then he chews on blankets, gets in the trash.

I would love to take him to obedience training except that he know how to sit, walk on a leash, and all the fun tricks they learn at training.

What kind of punishment is acceptable?
I appreciate the feedback. To those whom think I shouldn’t own dogs…. I absolutely love my dogs however I feel a little overwhelmed and that is why I have asked for suggestions. Nicole I don’t appreciate your comments as I love my dog and I spend as much time with him as I do my toddler. He is very well taken care of it is just when I am at work that these things happen. Then I come home having to clean up after his mess or repair blankets because he got bored during the day.

I know it’s what they do, but she is digging in places like the garden and in the flower bed. Any ideas in how to repel her from these areas?
She is outside all day with 2 other dogs. We have an undergrond fence so they have plenty of space. I play with them a lot and they play with each other. She is the only one of the 3 dogs that digs. I don’t care if she digs, just not in the garden or flower bed.

i love dogs but i dont have a garden any idea what i can do?

My sheep dog is ten months old I checked where they had removed his tail today and it is pinkish and there are still stiches present. It didnt seem to bother him but I am still worried. Does this sound normal?
The dogs tail was docked at a few days old and ten months later i just notice it is pink and there are a few stitches there still

I have a couple of lightweight statues that I just got for my garden, but I have no idea how to secure them. If there’s wind or dogs or kids around, I don’t want them to just topple over easily. There’s really no way to partially bury them, and there’s no hole in the bottom to pour sand or something in. Any ideas besides duct tape?

Thanks for your help!

Hey,
this weekend I started buying plants and stuff for my project on my roof garden. And, till now, this is how it looks.

So, I’m thinking of adding a pond here in this corner (of course remove the plants and put them somewhere else). It has to be a raised pond as I cant dig ( refer to link )

Here is my problem, take a look at these tiles

http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=2hs5cuh&s=3

They are not pretty! I’ve looked at decking at garden centres but they are so expensive! So here is where I need your help- what can I use to cover up these horrible tiles? Any do-it-yourself cheap decking ideas?

Also, if you have any ideas & critisism for the garden, dont be hesitant to tell me !
PS-sry about the evident dog droppings but I have 3 dogs!
Ok I know it doesnt look grand till now, but I’ve only just started..one step at a time!
I am from Malta :P

We have a 6 month old tibetan terrier. He always kicked up a bit of a fuss when he was eating. breakfast times involved our sitting there for 10 minutes holding his bowl at times. but he mostly finishes his food….. till 2 weeks back. We feed him wellness mixed with some nutro max pupppy. Primarily wellness though. Now he almost never eats in the morning. Does not nibble on any of the kibble at noon. Eats most of the food in the evening as he is hungry by this time with 3 walks during the day. This amounts to a total of 1 to 1.5 cup per day and his requirements are 2-2.5 cups. He drinks a LOT of water.. but it is summer.I think the house may be a little warm and i will try a cooler temperature to see if it even helps. But i am worried.
Last time he did this was for a couple of days when he was losing a tooth or two. No evidence of loose teeth in mouth. checked yesterday for parasites at vet. Am not sure what to do.
when he did this "picky" act previously we changed dog food brand gradually. he had initially been on Eukanuba, then lamaderm, then science diet (all recommended by his breeder). we liked the recommendations for wellness and bought that. With ALL these brands he starts off great. eats all the food for 2-3 weeks and then gets fussy. According to the reading i have done we do not change brands for dogs that much. sensitive stomachs and all.
any suggestions ?

how do I get rid of flies in y apartment patio?

I live in a 1 bedroom apartment and have 2 dogs. Every once in a while they do their business in the patio. I clean up immediatly, but flies are EVERYWHERE!!!! I spray and they come right back. I even have one of those bags with water for flies.

How can i keep my dogs off and away from my patio?

I have patio furniture and 3 dogs that wont stay away from my patio and patio furniture when they got plenty of backyard. What can i mix or spray to keep them off my patio? Specially something i can use or make at home…

We live very close to a lake and do not want to risk toxic run off,or injury to our dogs.

As mentioned, the dogs play there, so…

No harmful chemicals, plastic probably isn’t a good idea since one of the dogs would probably chew it up.

I’d like to do this myself so hiring someone with a huge tiller isn’t really viable.

Thanks

The dogs are males, they are Cocker mix (probably cockapoo) and they urinate on patio furniture and on the potted plants all the time.

Wasps nest in Wind chimes?

Each Spring I have to put away all my wind chimes due to wasps making nests in them. Is there any way to keep them out? Cannot spray poison in them since they are in my patio and will drip down. My dogs are there.
