Does this look right to you?

Is this the WHOLE poem? I thought it was longer then this…

Stopping By Woods On A Snowy Evening

Whose woods these are I think I know.
His house is in the village though;
He will not see me stopping here
To watch his woods fill up with snow.
My little horse must think it queer
To stop without a farmhouse near
Between the woods and frozen lake
The darkest evening of the year.
He gives his harness bells a shake
To ask if there is some mistake.
The only other sound’s the sweep
Of easy wind and downy flake.
The woods are lovely, dark and deep.
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.

Did anyone else have a College/High School english professor (teacher) introduce you that Robert Frost’s poem "Stopping By Woods On A Snowy Evening" is in the same meter as "Oh Christmas Tree". I can’t listen to the
song now without mentally injecting the poem!

Try it:
"Whose woods these are I think I know.
His house is in the village though;
He will not see me stopping here
To watch his woods fill up with snow.

My little horse must think it queer
To stop without a farmhouse near
Between the woods and frozen lake
The darkest evening of the year.

He gives his harness bells a shake
To ask if there is some mistake.
The only other sound’s the sweep
Of easy wind and downy flake.

The woods are lovely, dark and deep.
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep."

I do, but i feel like asking others to see what they know.

Whose woods these are I think i know,
His house is in the village though,
He will not see me stopping here,
To watch his woods fill up with snow,

My little horse must think it queer,
To stop without a farmhouse near,
Between the woods and frozen lake,
The darkest evening of the year,

He gives his harness bells a shake,
To ask if there is some mistake,
The only other sounds the sweep,
Of easy wind and downy flake,

The woods are lovely dark and deep,
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before i sleep.

To watch his woods fill up with snow.

My little horse must think it queer

It’s called "Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening" by Robert Frost and here’s how it goes:

Stopping By Woods On A Snowy Evening

Whose woods these are I think I know.
His house is in the village though;
He will not see me stopping here
To watch his woods fill up with snow.
My little horse must think it queer
To stop without a farmhouse near
Between the woods and frozen lake
The darkest evening of the year.
He gives his harness bells a shake
To ask if there is some mistake.
The only other sound’s the sweep
Of easy wind and downy flake.
The woods are lovely, dark and deep.
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.

I KNOW what it is I just forget and once someone tells me, I’ll remember but PLEASE help it’ll drive me crazy and ten pts to the first CORRECT answer!! (don’t put like "." or something because I’ve had that before so I extended the question. Anyway, please please help!) Thanks!!!
Um, I mean, style, like (I know it’s not, but) Hiaku, Sonnet, and Free Verse, like that
If that helps, then woo! thanks for the help!:P
Thanks for all of the answers, but if you happen to come back, I mean style, I should have put that instead of kind. Still open and waiting!!! please help!! thanks to everyone so far!!
All of your answers are right when it comes to the poem, but I still don’t have what I’m looking for, sorry! Still open! Thanks!

For me, there are a few that stand out. One was our puppy Wilbur, who we rescued from the dog pound on Christmas Eve as a companion for our other dog, Harvey.

The others are things people made me, like a new hat my neice knitted me, a tea box my brother made, ornaments painted by kids, the woodcarvings my Dad did, and a doll blanket my Mom sewed me.

My best all time bought gift was a wheelbarrow….My husband and I had been looking for a farmhouse for several years, and I said that when we had a barn and big garden, I wanted a wheelbarrrow. We still hadn’t found the house, but he remembered that, and it meant the world to me, because it was part of a dream of a different life. We live that life now.

I do know what this poem means, or have my own interpretation anyway. But thank you for your sarcasm, it is so refreshing. It is great when people share their knowledge freely.
