I am planning a garden of eden sleeve tattoo. I am a young girl, almost 18. i have a few tattoos already, my parents arent to strict. i am waiting till i am 18 to get the sleeve done though.
anyways, id like the sleeve to be very colorful and bright. with various flowers and probably a swirly blue sky up towards my soldier with the sun and stuff but i am confused on some other things to put in the garden.
some say i should get the serpent rapped around the arm with the apple in his mouth and the pretty garden as the backround but i dont have something EVIL as the center of my sleeve. i want to keep it more godly if that makes sense. but i do want the serpent involved somehow. maybe a good and evil feel to mysleeve? like start out pretty and colorful and fade into a deserted valley.
lol tmy wheels are turning..
anyones thoughts or ideas of ANYTHING is appreciated. thankyou!!
I FEEL DUMB. i put "soldier" instead of shoulder. exuse me.

Ok so instead of getting super sappy on my wedding day and reading poems and singing songs in memory of my father and making it all about him instead of my hubby to be and me, we decided to do a memorial vase by our guest book. Instead of putting a candle or flowers into the vase we are setting up bowls of different colored stones so that everyone can take a moment and remember their lost loved ones by placing a colored stone into the vase. I really want to post a poem of some kind to go with this little extra memorial ceremony to explain to the guest what the vase is for. Anyone have any ideas or web sites they can suggest

My mom is trying to become a interior designer and as a project she is going to design my room to look like i am in the middle of a garden and she wants me to look for flowers but i need your help. as my room will be painted like a garden at sunset, i would like the flowers tie in with a sunset. like morning glories calla roses, or even something that has nothing to do with it but are just unique and pretty like bleeding hearts (this is a real flower) they don’t have to tie in with a sunset though. thank you so much for the help!!!

I need some ideas to perk up my gardens. I’m in zone 8. A lot of my flowers look rough, loosing leaves and turning yellow. They get a regular watering but I’ve noticed the soil is starting to look poor and the compost has decomposed quickly and there isn’t much there.
I’m concerned about fertilizing because of the heat , but I think they need some nutrients.
I’d appreciate any ideas you can suggest. Thanks!

I am buried in the blankets,
tracing stars on the nightstand
stars and spoons and plates and deep deep bowls of strawberries.
On these days, I pray that someone somewhere who has control will cancel school because of snow that is not there,
and I can spend the day on tiptoes, doing dishes, singing,
dancing, and lifting all the windowshades.
You are the rock, collected and placed in a box that always finds its way back out again, lining a lake or the interstate.
And in your home with the rest of your fool’s-gold family I am sure
you are cleaning or singing
or lining the windows with flowers, smiling wide, I’m sure,
laughing loud, I’m sure, with your jawbone, pretty jawbone showing proud beneath your skin.

I want to start a vegetable garden, although I have limited yard space. Please provide, if possible, a list of vegetables and fruits that can grow in a smaller space… Flowers are also fine if they are bright and colourful…

I live in Oakland, CA, and these "mystery flowers" appeared in my deck garden. I’m including links to pics for easier identification. The first flower started out with white petals, but now they’re turning a fuschia color. The second flower now has a white star-shaped five petal design with a yellow center. Does anyone know what these are?

The first photo actually shows two different mystery plants. The chamomile-like flowers are in the forefront, and there’s another mystery vine-like plant in the background.

My husband and I just bought our first home together in Monterrey Mexico. The back yard is extremely small, 20ft x 19ft. We want this small area to be a retreat for us, and an area for grilling and small parties. At the same time we would like a few flowers, maybe even a small shrub or tree. However we are not for sure if we can fit all of that into this yard, is it possible and any ideas on what we can do. Oh and the queen of my yard is my Weimaraner (large dog), so everything that goes in this yard will be access by her. Can it be done, and any ideas?

I am interested in turning my small time hobby of gardening into a bit of a career. Are there classes, certifications, training that I can take in order to become an expert on plants, trees, etc? I’d like to have a deep knowledge of the various kinds of trees, shrubs, flowers that work in different climates, how to best plant and maintain them, to design landscapes with a variety of well-coordinated plants, etc. Should I try to become a certified arborist? Where do I start exploring this potential new career direction? Thanks.

We have a split level home and I want to plant flowers in the areas below the upper windows (also in front of the lower windows). I’m new at this stuff and inexperienced in what to do. The left side is a half circle about 12×15, and the right side is a long rectangle about 3×12. I was thinking flowers on the left side and 3-4 flower bushes on the right side. Or should I do flowers on both?
Does anyone know of a place where I can design it or can you help me? I’d like to do a 3-season garden but have no clue where to put what. How do I make it so something is always in bloom? (minus winter of course). Any help would be great, thanks!

My son found a stranded crab in the edge of a river. He brought it home and put it in the garden somewhere. The garden has a mango and an orange tree. It also has varied types of nature and flowers. I have seen it oftentimes trying to get into the house. Is it dangerous to have it there?
