I’ve seen the Home Design Software from Better Homes And Gardens but I dont know if that’s a good program or not.

I use sweethome 3d but it’s only okay, I was wondering if anyone knew of a good free download for some home design software… Sweethome 3d does not do landscape design, I would like one that does both, but I don’t really want to pay for it.

My 12 yr old son wants to be an arcitect and we have played around with some of the less expensive (.99) home design software, but they seem a little hard to get started with. Anyone know if a very simple one to purchase? We were thinking of the Better Homes & Gardens series, maybe find one on e-bay..
