I’m having a few friends over tomorrow and we’re having our own Super Bowl party. We’re having bets on the game and similar bets you can have in Las Vegas such as over/under how long it takes Christina Aguilera to sing the National Anthem, if fergie of the Black Eyed Peas is wearing a skirt or pants and if the coin toss is heads or tails. Super Bowl Sunday is the best day of the Year. No other sporting event is as good as the Super Bowl.

I haven’t been to Las Vegas in about seven years, and I’m not sure how often they rotate music for the fountain show out front, but there is a BEAUTIFUL Italian opera song that was played for those fountains – it was either a man or a man / woman duet. I believe the song was also used in an Italian food commercial – like for Ragu or Preggo. If anyone can guess the song name, not only will you have made my year, but you will definitely earn your 10 points!

my husband is sure there must be drinking water fountains all over so people don’t die in the heat. i was there once years ago and don’t remember ever seeing drinking water fountains anywhere. do any of the big hotels or anywhere else in las vegas supply water to the public free of charge?
thanks!

(I will probably get some angry answers for this but I need to vent) Ok I live in a Town home in Las Vegas, NV where there are many windy days and nights. The neighbor across the way has wind chimes that are loud and keep us awake all night. I hate to be a pain and go to her and tell her they are annoying. (i hate to start trouble) but they keep me and my Family awake through the night. I’m afraid there is nothing I can do. What is the difference between noisey wind chimes and an annoying party or a dog barking through the night? Maybe I sound annoying right now but this has really been bothering me lately.
Sandyspacecase down below should feel very lucky that I am not her neighbor, because is she gave me the middle finger she would find EACH AND EVERY ONE OF HER ANNOYING HUNDRED DOLLAR wind chimes pulled off the hooks and torn in to hundreds of pieces on her front door step : ) Honey… I’m sure they are beautiful but enjoy your noisey art in your house!!!!

We just moved into a new house with a great patio. It was really dry and plain before we fixed it up. We have added a canopy for partial shade, a small grass area, koi pond and a few indoor/outdoor palms. What kind of plants can I put out there that will survive the winter in Las Vegas? I would like to have both inground and potted plants out there. Can anyone help?

Some that come to my mind are:
Buckingham Fountain in Chicago
The Fountains of Bellagio in Las Vegas
The Fontana dei Quattro Fiumi or "Fountain of the Four Rivers" in Rome.
What other fountains are great must-see tourist sites?

In Las Vegas, there was like a stage or platform thing on the water in front of the Bellagio fountains… She did the Slave 4 U number at some awards show or something
is it common for events to happen there?
And is there anyway to get a dance team to do a performance there??
Do you think we would have to pay?
