My brother's betta has fin rot…?

I put aquarium salt in his bowl, but it just made matters worse and now his fin almost completely fell off. So today I bought the fish a bigger bowl: 1gal. and added BettaFix.

Do you think he will die?
What more can I do?

NOTE: I noticed my brother’s betta had fin rot, and started to change the water in his little bowl daily, while adding a little bit of aquarium salt. It got worse! Now I bought him a bigger bowl, added medicine and his water is crystal clean. I know betta’s can die from it. Please help!!!

Thank you so much! in advance.
Also this fish is only about 5 months old and since I bought it, it has had signs of fin rot. Just that now I wanted to help the poor thing out. Unfortunately I made matters worse. My bro really likes this fish!!! And I know bettas can live several years, so Mr. Fish can’t die!!

Pink and gold romantic, enchanted garden wedding.?

I was want a romatic enchanted garden theme with a marie Antoinette, great gatspy feel…if anyone has any ideas on anything, flowers, decor, anything. I would greatly appreciate it!

Personally i like the idea of a more modern band playing at the Super Bowl rather than a 70-year-old dude singing like he is about to s**t his diapers. The last time someone modern played there was a little bit of flashing going on so maybe that is a reason against it. I just want to know what you guys think. And please no disrespect towards them, I like their music.
WHAT THE HELL DID I SAY? NO DISRESPECT PLEASE!!!!

Injured Leg.. not healing?

Last summer I hurt my leg while running. It was not a major injury; it only hurt when I lefted it up. So I continued to run on it for another two weeks. I haven’t been running at all since then.

However, I still get a little bit of pain (it’s not really pain but it’s an uncomfortable feeling) when I raise my leg up at certain angles and it makes a quiet cracking sound. I’m afraid to start running again. Is this a permanent injury? It has been a good 8 months.
it often feels when I push my leg inward towards my body that it should crack but never does…

the doctor told me it would be gone after about 24 hours. I woke up a little bit ago to get ready for school and the left side of my throat was just killing me so I looked and the white stuff got way bigger, now i cant swallow. but its not on the right side anymore. it seems the right side healed. does is sound like I need to get my tonsils removed?
if not what does it sound like?

It’s two months old, but still gets crusties a LITTLE bit sometimes, and tends to be slightly pink around the top hole sometimes. I think it just gets irriated alot because in the night I tend to roll over onto my stomach, and sometimes my pug jumps on me when i’m sitting down and lands on it.

It doesn’t hurt or anything.

Does this sound normal?

I’m looking to update my room a little bit and was thinking about getting a new bed.

I started looking around and finally I found some stuff on overstock.com

Now the problem. I found a new bed and would love a headboard but I’m not sure if I get the platform bed that the headboard is made or even supposed to be with the bed.

Please send help.

I suppose I’m not to worried if they DO go together physically as opposed to if they are supposed to or not be together visually.

why is my cat scared of me ?

i have a female cat and a male cat, the female cat was sitting outside in the garden and theres about a foot of snow out there so i tried to get her to come inside so she wouldnt get cold, but when i opened the back doors she ran away hissing. a while later she came up to my bedroom window so i let her in, she came in but then she started growling. my male cat was lying on my bed, so i put him outside on the landing and shut the door because he is always chasing her and they really dont like each other, but then she was still growling. i tried to pet her but she started growling louder and backing into a corner of the window ledge, and then she tried to attack me so i kinda lost my temper and got an ornament and slid it along the window ledge. it only hit her tail a little bit so i dont think it really hurt her but she growled at me louder so i gave up. i havent done anything to properly hurt her so why is she scared of me ?
also shes not really a social cat, shes always hiding from people and staying outside.
she cant be pregnant, she was fixed years ago.

a building had asbestos, and may still have a little bit of it in the building…most, if not all of it, is gone now..my concern is that the water i am drinking there may be affected to…is it?

Why do toilets in Japan have water fountains built in?

Why are water fountains built into toilets in Japan?

I asked for directions to the closest water fountain and the person I asked pointed me toward the restrooms. It took a few clicks of the buttons on the electronic device to find out how to activate the drinking fountain. I just thought it was a little bit odd that they place the fountain inside toilets in Japan, but as the saying goes "when in Rome do as the Romans do."

Wall fountains that don't flow smoothly?

I have two beautiful Slate Wall fountains in my indoor entry. The problem I’m having with them is, I’m constanty having to climb up and brush the copper pipe where the water flows from, to unplug the holes so that they flow over the entire surface. I put a little bleach in the water the other day thinking it may be a build-up of scum. Also tried a little bit of of scented oil from a plug-in freshener. Strange question I know…but any ideas?

I googled "foot sprain" and discovered (to my dismay) that a severe foot sprain can take up to 2 months to heal! My foot is swollen and bruised. I still can’t put any weight on the foot (after 5 days) so (according to articles I read) I (unfortunately) have a grade 3, severe foot sprain.

Ok, so here is the deal. I have been spending my days mostly in bed. I have been icing my foot every 2 hours. I have been trying to keep my foot elevated above my heart level, but how the heck am I supposed to remain in that position when I am sound asleep?

Also, if this injury lasts for weeks or even months, am I really expected to lie on my back and keep my foot elevated on pillows every night? I have a bulging disk in my back. I was in severe pain for 4 months last summer (and several of you Y/A community members helped me more than you can possibly imagine). Now my past fear has returned with a vengeance because, while the excruciating pain I was in just suddenly "magically" disappeared last September, about 6 weeks ago I started feeling tingly, numb sensations in my body (mostly in my legs). Now that I’m literally forced to lay on my back with both my legs stretched out straight in front of me, I have been getting very irritating muscle spasms in both my legs (as well as still feeling weird and tingly in my legs and sometimes in my arms).

I can’t ruin my back in order to heal my sprained foot. I hate the way I feel when I lay on my back and elevate my foot, so I really need to know if doing this will be necessary for the duration of my injury? Also, should I try to exercise my foot a little bit while I’m laying in bed? When should I attempt to walk on the foot again? Will I be in danger of re-injuring the foot? This injury happened during an extremely stressful, emotionally draining, painful time in my life. (My 8 year ex "love" recently broke my heart in unimaginable ways.) I’m at a fragile point in my life where I really can’t accept that this "freak accident" happened to me (on top of everything else).

it’s Deja vu all over again for me. Last summer I endured terrible pain so I could sit at the computer and ask questions out here on Yahoo Answers. Tonight, I couldn’t stand another second of laying in bed, so I crawled down the stairs-dragged my crutches along beside me-and used my crutches to help me hop to the computer in the kitchen. My foot is not painful as long as I don’t put any weight on it, but my foot still feels weird whether I am sitting at the computer or laying in my bed.

***I am not in the kind of terrible pain that I was in last summer, but this situation still really, really sucks:)

I read some articles about foot sprains, but I’m desperate for information that might come from people who have firsthand knowledge of this type of injury. I would appreciate all of your input and help :)

Crystal or cut glass punch bowl value?

I need a little bit of money. I have an antique "collectors" punch bowl, platter, and cups set. Is there a way to determine the price of the item? Or a way to tell whether it is crystal or glass? It’s at least two feel in diameter. It looks very valuable. Please help. Answer asap, please. Thank you!
