Let us live for today
For tomorrow we shall die
It is looking like rain
And the winds of disapproval are blowing heavily
The dark clouds with a critical eye are bearing down
Yes when it rains it pours my love
Come please keep me in faith
And I will keep you in mine
We can’t hold on forever
Or can we?

If you must go, don’t forget me
For I shall not forget you
The days spent with you were not in vain
But the hours of your departure are what bring the pain
Tis not us driving one another apart
Only the outsiders with hammers
Tearing down our walls

They should not be allowed
But the world does not care
For we are but two small people
They tell us seek for advantage
Yet we find that and more

A life without you is a thought I cannot bare to entertain

May is drawing near and of course, that means mothers day is near as well. That also means that i need help on finding a gift. I have options for you to decide on:

A – breakfast (made by me) and a card
PROBLEM:
my mom’s on a diet

B – windchimes
PROBLEM:
she has a lot of windchimes

so which one is it? A or B? and why?

*If theres nothing that you want of the choices that I made, were going to Hong Kong this week—if i could by a gift there, what kind of gift? why that? any idea how much that is?

**If youre going to tell me the * option, then why that and not the others?

When I was a kid, my mom got me this paperback drawing book. I have no idea what it was called. All I remember is that the cover was an amazing perspective drawing of a city (I think in pencil), it was yellow and grayscale. It taught you how to draw with perspectives – things like a fish bowl, a square table, stairs, a milk carton, pipes that wound around in endless mazes. I’m a teacher now and I would really like to find that book. Ringing any bells anywhere?

I live in Indiana and in the summer ( or maybe spring) , some hummingbirds come to the feeder. I read an article in this magazine called " Birds & Blooms) and it said about these hummingbirds building nests in strange places, like ropes and windchimes. In the summer or spring , if I place a tiny little bird house ( because they check out anything my mom puts out there) will they lay eggs in it if they are interested in the birdhouse? Or it is not their egg-laying season yet in the summer, in Indiana?

My cat who is 3 years old this month jumped on the kitchen table when he was 2 and knocked over and broke a family heirloom. A 70 year old crystal fruit bowl that my grandparents got handed down to them at their wedding went shattering to the floor. My mom still doesn’t like my cat but I still love him to death. I can’t help it. Animals are alive and what he broke was a material object…it’s still sad, but I’m just sayin’

My mom has wind chimes hanging on half her yard and bird feeders on the other half. She insist the wind chimes will keep bears away. I tend to think that it’s more likely to attract bears because they are curious and for the most part fearless. So what do you think will the wind chimes keep the bears away or draw them closer?

My mom hired a gardener earlier this month to help her re-style the garden ready for summer. At first he came across as a genuine and nice guy. Then we noticed things missing. Ornaments vanished, plants disappeared and our lawnmower gone. My mom is usually at work when he’s there so she decided to stay home without him knowing. She couldn’t believe it when she found him digging up the plants and taking them. When she confronted him, he gave her all sorts of excuses but he bought them back. Then one day I came home and my mom was a wreck. She had lost a child before I was born and kept a memorial in the garden dedicated to my brother. They’d had an argument and the gardener pulled the rose plant up and smashed all the ornaments. Since then, he keeps turning up unannounced and won’t leave when my mom asks him, taking things when he does go. He has even threatened my mom. We’ve been to the police but they just tell us the same thing and don’t seem to help. What can we do?

Ok, this is going to sound stupid but I was playing around a broken table. (Basically if you move it a little the leg will fall off and the table will fall over)

So anyways I knocked the table over and it landed really hard on my arm (plus it is very heavy), and Im positive I broke my upper forearm area/ulna,radius. But the thing is my mom told me to not fool around with it, and if I tell her I will be in so much trouble. Ive knocked it over before, and bruised my shoulder, plus broken my collar bone. She grounded me for four weeks after I was healed, and it wasn’t pleasant.

So I plan on telling her this, and I want to know if it sounds plausible.

I was teasing my cat my opening and closing the patio door (heavy, sliding glass door with steal frame), but I kept my arm in the track/frame area to make sure that he wouldn’t be able to get through/get hurt when I close the door. So being stupid I didn’t move my arm fast enough and I slammed the patio door hard on my upper forearm.

Basically I felt something crack and it hurts a lot, so I need to get it checked out but if i tell her the truth she will be beyond mad at me.

So does the door excuse sound believable?
For your information I always play around, and tease my cat. (He loves going outside, and hates being denied)

My mom has lived in the same house for over 20 years. Recently someone moved into the house next door. He’s a younger guy who apparently stays up late and we’ve had issues with noise coming from his place early into the morning. His mom comes by alot and recently asked us to remove wind chimes that according to her,"do not let her son sleep during the day." She recently called the cops to have them speak to my mom about the issue. When he moved in, they were very visible, but not until we had to call the cops for his disrupting my mom’s sleep during one of his parties did this become an issue. My mom is ill and needs her sleep, my sis lives with her and has to wake up early in the morning, so she needs her sleep as well. But when we explained this to the cops, they said the neighbor’s mom had a real issue with the chimes keeping her son up, she doesn’t even live there. It doesn’t seem right that the cops ignored the fact that his antics keep adult people up during the evening into the morning and yet seem to be catering to this guy’s mom’s wishes while her precious angel sleeps away his hangover. So who is right here??

My mom is a little…well a little hippyish, and i’ve had some sleeping problems lately so she gave me a chunk of amethyst to put under my pillow and told me it would help me sleep. Is this legit? do crystals really have healing properties?

i am planning a baby shower for my friend who is having a boy. her mom wants a "classy" tea party theme and is planning on renting fine china for the food and serving dishes. however, we will be having an ice cream buffet with all the toppings and a few kinds of ice cream. her mom is being very conscious about this being "classy" whatever that means…its ice cream…anyways, i dont want to set the ice cream out in the boxes because that doesnt look classy enough. what, other than just ice cream boxes can the ice cream be stored in? it will be served in probably crystal glass bowls and we will use the plastic silverware that looks like regular flatware. its silver in color. we already know what the toppings will set in but NO IDEA what to do with the actual ice cream that will look nice. links would be greatly appreciated too!

I have a fear of walking in front of people, I can’t even walk in front of my classmates, my friends turn my papers in for me at school.

Is there a name for this fear?
What about the fear of wind chimes?
My mom is already getting me a psychiatrist.

We have a slightly enclosed front porch, our front door is far inside a sort ceilinged porch, ilf that makes any sense. I am not bothered by them but my mom is very annoyed by the presence of the birds flying around inside the little area, sitting on our windchimes, sort of being unharmful pests. Is there any way I can just make them go away before my mom harms them?
