I've been acting/feeling strange lately?

Well, about a week ago my dad was gone and it was nighttime. I had my earbuds in and was listening to music. I thought I heard something so I took them out and listened. I heard a male voice, flipped sh*t and ran outside. I sat on the porch for about an hour. And within that hour, I heard footsteps, and music from a house across the street. I don’t know the people but know there are no teens, so no blaring music. I also could hear traffic. I was playing a game, almost. Guessing which direction a car would come from. I got every one right.
When I went inside, just after I shut the door my dad pulled in the driveway. I laughed, (not feeling very myself at the time,) and said ‘your too late’

since then, I suppose I HAVE been acting weird. Two days later my dad asked if I was okay, saying that I was in fact acting strange. Like at therapy I heard a cell phone ring. Somehow I knew it was outside, like somebody’s on the sidewalk. Then today I was at a friends and heard windchimes. I looked out the window and across the street and the house had windchimes.

I’ve been feeling weird now and then just feel..different.

And before you say drugs, no. I am 13, I don’t do that.

I miss my deerly departed husband, very much.

IF I get his bones cleaned professionally, is it appropriate to make wind chimes for family who wants to remember him out on the porch like old times?

Thank you for your kind of help.

Another morning, will you C/C please?

Held in head

Puka-shell wind chimes hang

Movie that came out in the 80's (i think.)?

I want to know what the name of this movie is but I don’t remember much about it.

In the beginning of the movie there’s a house with a lot of wind chimes on the porch. This man meets this woman at a concert (or something) and becomes obsessed with her. He decides to kill her husband and blows up the boat house while the husband is inside. The police arrest him and he goes to jail. In jail the man gets a hold of her yearbook and looks her up to find out that she isn’t who she says she is.

Wedding Reception Garden Party, need ideas.?

My pregnant fiance & me are having a courthouse wedding with a few family members there this Friday. The next day, Saturday, we are having a BBQ reception party at her uncle’s house – he lives in the country and has a nice plot of land. Her dad has bought like 50lb of pork, 20lb of chicken, and like a veggie platter, and some random other things (theres going to be a live band also). Also, he has gotten like a 3 cases of beer. I think at most there will be like 30 people there (hopefully). I’m going tommorow, when I get paid, to get decorations for the wedding and liquor. What kind of decorations and liquor should I get? I have at most 0 budget to go on. I was thinking of white Christmas lights to put around the porch and other areas (there is going to be 2 to 3 fire pits there too). Liquor I planned on getting a big bottle of Bacardi and a bucket of fresh strawberries to make homemade fresh daquaries and some Tangaray (sp?) gin. What else can I get for decorations and liquor?

You may say this is not a religious or spiritual question but it is to me. I am a Catholic and I try to start and finish each day leaning on God and His love. Today I sat on the porch after work and watched the sun rise, heard the birds and cicadas sing, and listened to the wind in the wind chimes. It gave me a sense of peace as I read my devotinal. What did you do?
Hey for myself I personally don’t mind the "nutjobs" I am content to be a "Fool for Christ" if need be.

I need help planning a flower garden this spring!?

The way my porch is set up makes it hard for me to plan a flower garden. Instead of being higher off the ground, it is almost level to my yard. The concrete is about 2 inches higher than the yard, and there is a sidewalk going to it. Anybody have any ideas for a flower garden that would make it look awesome??? Thanks!

Thanks. btw this is a fantasy fiction paragraph. :)

The rain was pouring outside, making the sky a deep blotchy gray. soft crackling lightning pierced the sky every now and then for a few split seconds, making Daren jump a little every time it struck the inky sky. it had only been a week sense he had moved to the islands for a simple vacation, and almost the entire time it had been cursed with the water that infinitely fell from the sky. the first day he had arrived, the land was beautiful and lush with life.

Daren looked out from the porch where he was seated to see the trees swaying in the heavy rain and wind; the vast empty land padded down by water. "It’s not always like this." A voice from behind him chimed. Jill walked up beside him and folded her arms in front of her. "You usually see people golfing out there. and most of the tourists would be at the would be at the beach." She laughed to herself. "I guess you bring bad luck with you, uh?" Daren got up from his seat and stretched. "That’s real funny…because it’s true. Well we can do other things besides watching the rain, right?"

Jill’s eyes lifted and her mouth opened with enthusiasm. "Oh! Yeah sure. I’ll take you the my grand pappies store. its in the center of town, but that shouldn’t be a problem. Here, I’ll take you." Jill lived on these islands, so her knowledge was very useful to Daren. They had known each other in highschool back in America. When he had heard that she was moving out, he told himself that he would visit her once a year for his vacation.

Jill hovered the umbrella over the both of them as they quickly walked to the side shop. "Crazy rain, right?" A friendly stranger yelled out to them from under his rain coat. Daren opened the door for Jill as they entered into the shop.

The smell was amazing. Different smells of herbs, and sweet flowers drifted to Daren’s nose; he tried to stay focused on Jill even when his mind began to wonder away, off with the scents of the shop.

"Well hello!" An old voice boomed from the back of the antinque store. Jill waved quickly back at her excited grandfather with a huge grin on her face as she made her way twords him. Daren followed her and tried not to knock over anything; the place was literraly stuffed with odd objects.

"How are you, J?" Her grandfather embraced her warmly over the counter. "I’m good, Pappie! You know Daren? Right?" She gestured to her friend. Daren reached his hand out. "It’s a pleasure to meet. Your grand daughter is something else." He smiled at Jill, who was glaring at him playfully.

Jill and her grandfather began to talk about who-knew-what, which didn’t concern Daren in anyway, so he began to explore the treasures in the shop. An odd tea cup, a shipped up glass dog, an angel playing the harp. They were all odd in their own special way.

As he continued, he came upon a strange box. He picked up slowly, reasurring himself that it wouldn’t explode or desenegrate, and began to examine it carefully. A handle was latched to the side. he turned it round and round untill it stiffened and couldn’t be turned any longer. he let go.

The sound around the room came to an immediate hush; the constant chatter of Jill and her pappie, the always ticking clock, it all came to silence. The only sound came from the box. A simple, melancholy tune emitted from it slowly. it seemed to be a lullaby.

The room was still. The rain outside lay frozen and the clock’s hands stood still. A black hooded man stood in front of Daren, his face was covered by his hood. "You’ve finally awakened us…Daren." He lifted his hand, a stop watch lay in it ticking away unlike the clock that Pappie had hanging on his shop wall. "You have five hundred hours, Daren…"

The room flashed back to life. The once silent rain once again began to pour and a flash of enraged lighting tour up the sky. "Five hundred hours…?"
oh, and give your honest opinion. is it really boring? is it too descriptive? am i an amateur? thanks
yeah i knew that it was dull for the beginning. i think most things are. i dont know how i could make it more entertaining in the beginning. any suggestions?

Some neighborhoods ban clotheslines, working on the car in the driveway, & maybe even supposedly unsightly solar panels that someone has to view from a house above. What does yours ban? Fortunately, in mine, with a few artists in residence, just about anything goes, including a big veggie garden & 2 hens residing in the yard next door. (but so far, no pigs.) Some might have year-round Christmas lights or neon lights as porch ornaments, while many might think as I do that a pink flamingo would be a retro sight to behold & a hoot besides.

Still, I’ll consider anybody’s point of view just as long as it’s both courteous & well-stated, perhaps with a little reading entertainment thrown in. Just exactly what’s tacky to you?
Does the amount of noise going on make a difference when it comes to what’s acceptable?
Looks like all good & thoughtful answers. Thanks to all.

Help with designing my container garden?

I’m new at gardening and I don’t have much of a lawn space so I going to have a container garden; but need some help with designing it.
My container garden will be on my porch, it’s not very small but not huge either. I say it’s about medium size, more towards the small size but not tiny. I have a red porch.
Here is a list of the plants I will be growing:
strawberries, tomatoes, cucumbers, broccoli, peas, lettuce, dwarf blueberries, celery, peppers, grapes, dwarf cantaloupe, corn, carrots, and cauliflower.
What would be the best type of pots to get? (terra cotta, plastic, etc.)
A mix? Any ideas?

I would like to find an artistic and high quality design yard or garden flag for my porch. For example: I would love to find an Arcade fire or Wilco yard flag for my porch. If anyone knows where I can find such a unique item. please let me know.

The fencing around the patio is vinyl and about 4 feet high. I’d love to let her on the porch with me, but she always goes straight for the railings to try and get out. Since I’m in an apartment I can screw anything in to the railing. any ideas?

When we woke up this morning, our patio door was open about a foot, but the back door to our porch was closed, so we think maybe the cat did it? There is not a lot of crime in our area, but we do have a few nice things and my significant other left the blinds open and lights on last night.

There are a few cracks in my patio (not deep) and I would like to put some sort of tile down. What all do I need to do to get the area ready? When tiling a porch do you need to do the stairs as well? How do you measure the stairs?
