I’m curious about the theory that fear causes pain in childbirth. I’d like to hear of any successful natural birthing stories. I’m 33 weeks pregnant and have been practicing deep breathing and relaxation. My epidural didn’t work last time, so it was the worst of both worlds being strapped down unable to move. Plus I wasn’t educated on it like I am now. Thanks!!
My labors are very quick… about 5-6 hours.

Well im a big believer in feng shui and yoga and all that, but most people recommend like green tea or jasmine tea for relaxation, and i cant stand tea, it makes me sick.. so does anyone know any good drinks/juices that help calm nerves and keep you relaxed? I’m not much of an alcohol drinker either.

I’m not talking about sleep, but how much awake time should be devoted to relaxation? (such as watching a movie or playing a game) in order to try and maximize brain performance? Is it best if no time is spent relaxing and all your time is spent studying/working? Thx in advance!

It was a guy with a soothing voice and the 5 min session was going from the roots to the leaves. It had only four or so tracks, purple and black cover, and there was like a 5 min 10 min and 20 min. I am desperately needing relaxation and that cd was perfect.

I have extreme difficulty urinating. I asked how should I resolve this. One of the answers was to relax. I have tried to relax before, but it didn’t work. Maybe I didn’t relax enough. How do I get into a very deep state of relaxation for my entire body?

I wish I didn’t like to drive so much since it can be expensive but I seem to relax and enjoy driving. Some people hate to drive and only do it when they really have to. What is it about driving that seems to make me feel good? Is driving like a form of relaxation or do I just feel it relaxes me?

My parents anniversary is fastly approaching and I want to buy my mother and father separate gifts. My mother enjoys soft relaxing music and water. I thought a relaxation fountain would be nice. A relaxation fountain is a miniature fountain that has water run thru it, you can hear the water lightly run and it is relaxing. I heard they also have ones that come with nature music. What department store can I purchase one at??

I sell my relaxation videos online at www.sunsetsofhawaii.com but it doesn’t really sell the way I think it could if I were able to get a big retailer like Wal-Mart to sell it (especially in Hawaii). Does anyone know the best way to convince a big retailer to distribute your products?
