I posted a suggetion that home and garden should be broken into more parts. I know that the DIY and Maintenance parts are a pain the way they are right now. I feel they should be broken into parts ie.. electrical, plumbing, heating and air conditioning, roofing, walls, etc.. If it were that way people could answer questions with expertise much easier. Pets are already set up this way. If you agree please go and vote!

I’m looking for a low-cost way to gain a more attractive home for visitors.
My plan is to drastically downgrade. I don’t necessarily want the fireplace. I might just get a fire pit. I’m focusing on the wood ceiling/ roofing.
If I did want to go to the full blown room, how much should I be willing to do extra monthly?

Need to replace old roofing, rolled and small stone to shingles on patio. Tile on house roof. How do you tie it in? Thanks for any help. Judy C.
