I have a year old lab/greyhound mix that has an enormously large backyard, lots of soft and hard chew toys and 3 friends to play with (one dog, two cats). He won’t stop chewing my blankets, garden decor and other things. He also won’t stop digging. And it’s not that it’s hot or that there are animals we need to worry about. It is totally pissing me off and I have no idea how to stop it. I have tried putting him on a lead and he just digs holes around him bc he’s pissed off. We have tried giving him the run of the backyard with a warm place to go to sleep in. We have tried many things. HELP!!!
I have tried keeping him in the house but then he chews on blankets, gets in the trash.

I would love to take him to obedience training except that he know how to sit, walk on a leash, and all the fun tricks they learn at training.

What kind of punishment is acceptable?
I appreciate the feedback. To those whom think I shouldn’t own dogs…. I absolutely love my dogs however I feel a little overwhelmed and that is why I have asked for suggestions. Nicole I don’t appreciate your comments as I love my dog and I spend as much time with him as I do my toddler. He is very well taken care of it is just when I am at work that these things happen. Then I come home having to clean up after his mess or repair blankets because he got bored during the day.

useally when i wake up in the middle of the night i hear wind chimes for some reason whys this the neighbours dont have windchimes we dont no one in our street has em like u can bearly hear the wind chimes whats wrong with me and im 15

I recently started playing my copy of Pokemon Platinum with the volume only slightly up..and today, I play for six hours before I realized I had been playing for so long..I stopped playing and attempted to go to sleep..but I kept hearing the chime that goes with pressing a button in the game..and after a few minutes, the music that happens when you get into a battle with a Wild Pokemon..even now as I type I hear the same music playing in my left ear..the harder I try and focus on making it go away, the louder it seems to get. Right now my head hurts from trying to focus the music away, any ideas on what’s causing this or how to get it to go away? It’s quite annoying..

eversince i was little my dad would ALWAYS make me watch horror movies with him.im always feeling like im being watched,especially when im walking home from school.at night, i hardly sleep.for me the usual hours of sleep i get is about 4 hrs. sometimes when im alone i can hear someone talking to me but theres no one there.last night just before i began to feel sleepy.it got really cold suddenly and i felt like i was being choked.like i could feel cold hands around my neck and cold hands pressing on my chest.this lasted for about 3 minutes.then a cpl days ago i was at a friend’s house and me and my friends were all on the couch watching a christmas movie and when i paused the movie to go get a snack i started hearing windchimes and i knew my friend didnt have any windchimes put up and i was positive that her animals didnt have the collars that make those kind of noises. in my family there have been a couple people saying that they saw ghosts wat do you think is wrong with me????

My Mum used to put little bells on the washing line and they would tinkle in the wind, and my Mum would say Shh!! Can you hear his sleigh?
Until one day my Dad put the presents in the bedroom fell over and woke us up. Any he replied in his usual soothing way Get to sleep you ba$tards! Ahh the loving sound of my Indian (India) father brings back such gentle thoughts of a fathers way of telling you Father Christmas doesn’t exist!

HELP! This has driven me crazy BEFORE the re-run of 02/15/07′s Family Guy episode on Cartoon Network – "Kiss Seen Round The World".

Tonight’s episode of Family Guy is the one where Meg and Neal become interns (if you will) of Tom Tucker’s. There’s a scene where Tom is at a pool and music plays. The scene starts off with the voice of Tom saying, "Hi Meg. You know how cute I think you are . . .", music chimes in and Tom begins removing his shirt. Meg’s illusion ends when she "snaps out of it" and finds herself kissing the TV screen.

WHAT IS THE NAME OF THAT SONG??? I remember that song from my childhood and for the life of me can’t remember the name. I’ve searched the net by the lyrics I can recall, all to no avail.

HELP ME BEFORE I GO INSANE!!!
OH MY GOSH I LOVE YOU GUYS!!! I’ve played this song in my head over and over for years (when this original episode was first aired). Every time its re-ran, I call everybody I can, as quickly as I can, and put the phone up to the TV. No more late night calls from me! My friends and family will be so thrilled!

Ahhh . . . now I can sleep easier. Y’all are the best!

So yesterday I guess earlier in the day like 11am 12pm-ish until around 9pm 10pm-ish my friend who came in from out of the states and i decided to smoke/snort some crystal. we split one bowl and we were still not where we wanted to be. i believe my tolerance yesterday was pretty damn high and hers too. last time i used was a couple years ago but i was an alcoholc so the comedowns didnt seem to phase me or not that i can recall. we split the one bowl in an oil burner. then gradually went on to take a line each and snort that. still not feeling as much as we wanted we had 2 more bowls that we split with 3 heads. but it was good shit and lasted a while. i felt amazing up until around 5 AM when i couldnt sleep. still havent. today i just have a mild to medium stomach pains. eating sounds awful. also clenching of the jaw which has left it sore. tingles and stinging sensations. itching of the scalp. none of these are TOO extreme but just bothering me. especially my stomach. i still have ecstacy in my system from 2 days before. i think i could be feeling ALOT worse right now but i dont. im exhausted from days of walking but im trapped inside a body that refuses to let me sleep. my nerves are a little out of wack. and a little numbess and soreness on the feet.

so i guess what i really want to know is,
will this get worse and worse or fade away?
and when do you think ill be able to sleep and for how long?
how long will this last?
and what can i do to ease it up? besides weed or heavy pain killers.

and ive been drinking lots and lots and LOTS of water and peeing maybe every hour to eery other hour. i had 1 and a half slices of toast and some tea.

save the lecture for someone who cares. my tolerance is high enough for me to know what i can or cant handle. and my use yesterday was only for that occasion.

PS. my friend who was with me is feeling NONE of this. she still feels awesome and also hasnt slept. she weighs a lot less and is much shorter though.

i think itll hit her. but its got me right now.

I’m talking about those 15 second commercials mtv2 plays late night that has your local cable company’s logo and shows a localized line-up of concerts or 1 particular band thats passing through. It sounds like random noises/sounds, not really even a beat to it. A loud distorted keyboard sound, some chimes maybe. I used to hear this kinda stuff late night on college stations sometimes. It was called Noise or Ambient maybe? Does anybody know what I’m talking about, and where I can find more of this music. It’s great to sleep to/smoke to. etc.

My mom has lived in the same house for over 20 years. Recently someone moved into the house next door. He’s a younger guy who apparently stays up late and we’ve had issues with noise coming from his place early into the morning. His mom comes by alot and recently asked us to remove wind chimes that according to her,"do not let her son sleep during the day." She recently called the cops to have them speak to my mom about the issue. When he moved in, they were very visible, but not until we had to call the cops for his disrupting my mom’s sleep during one of his parties did this become an issue. My mom is ill and needs her sleep, my sis lives with her and has to wake up early in the morning, so she needs her sleep as well. But when we explained this to the cops, they said the neighbor’s mom had a real issue with the chimes keeping her son up, she doesn’t even live there. It doesn’t seem right that the cops ignored the fact that his antics keep adult people up during the evening into the morning and yet seem to be catering to this guy’s mom’s wishes while her precious angel sleeps away his hangover. So who is right here??

My mom is a little…well a little hippyish, and i’ve had some sleeping problems lately so she gave me a chunk of amethyst to put under my pillow and told me it would help me sleep. Is this legit? do crystals really have healing properties?
