New York Jets coach Rex Ryan is known for being overconfident and assuring
his team and anyone else who will listen of the wonders hes going to
acomplish this season or the next. Its his nature and everyone around
football has come to understand that, its his style of coaching, and after
last season many people are starting to bealieve what he says. Back in
2007 the jets where a 4-12 team, just 3 wins above the almost record
setting dolphins who ended there season at 1-13. 2008 was a vast
improvement,although the team missed th playoffs they ultimately improved
to a 9-7 record. After the 2008 season the Jets orginization was
dissipointed in the direction of the team, and its inability to make the
playoffs. This led to the firing of coach Eric Mangini, and eventual
hiring of rex ryan. This led to the apperance of a new Jets team.The team
looked different and felt different, Rex Ryan’s Swagger approach to
coaching helped the Jets into the COnference championships by giving them
the confidence to compete and by backing up the team with players like
Bart Scott and Braylon Edwards. Rex Ryan showed everyone last season and
brought his team farther than theyve gone since 1998. Now with the 2010
season set to start in a few months coach Ryan has again boasted about his
team by writing "Soon to be champs" on the side of espn’s training camp
bus. This may seem like an exaggerated statement put on there to keep his
team in good spirits but to Rex Ryan Its no joke. "I’ve got confidence to
put it up there. I don’t have to just put, ‘Go, so-and-so.’ Yeah,
whatever. To me, I believe we’ll do it, so why wouldn’t we say it? Why
wouldn’t we go for it?""I’m not apologizing. I just know what’s going to
happen. My crystal ball, I’m seeing a Super Bowl trophy in there. Now, I
could be wrong, but that’s what I see. But every time I go to work, that’s
what I look at." The most impressive part about all of this is that the
jets have a legitimate chance to win. WIth 12 pro bowl players and an even stronger defence thanks to the additon of Antonio Cromartie and other defensive assets the Jets are in the running to challenge their divison rival Patriots, and possibly even the reigning super bowl champion New Orleans Saints.

I’m having a few friends over tomorrow and we’re having our own Super Bowl party. We’re having bets on the game and similar bets you can have in Las Vegas such as over/under how long it takes Christina Aguilera to sing the National Anthem, if fergie of the Black Eyed Peas is wearing a skirt or pants and if the coin toss is heads or tails. Super Bowl Sunday is the best day of the Year. No other sporting event is as good as the Super Bowl.

I watched the super bowl and watched her sing the star spangled banner, but I was with a bunch of friends and could hear over our random jokes about how god-awful we thought it sounded.

The music on the radio now no offense if you like it but most of it sucks. Most of the popular singers today can’t sing live if their life depended on it for example the half time show for the super bowl which was a band everyone thinks is popular sucked and was screaming the entire time. Do you think real talented music will ever become appreciated like in the 60s, 70s and 80s? I am only 18 and think this music is s**t

Not just the crappy super bowl performance, but pretty much all live performances (be it an award show, or anything else for that matter). Obviously I’ve never been to a live concert since I prefer to not waste my money, but I’m just curious as to why they keep getting these gigs to sing live. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Personally i like the idea of a more modern band playing at the Super Bowl rather than a 70-year-old dude singing like he is about to s**t his diapers. The last time someone modern played there was a little bit of flashing going on so maybe that is a reason against it. I just want to know what you guys think. And please no disrespect towards them, I like their music.

I hate when people sing the national anthem and try to change it or put extra emphasis on the words. Or in Christina Agulara’s case at the super bowl, trick it up and don’t even get the lyrics correct. I think the national anthem should be treated with respect. It should not be used by singers to try and show off their singing skills.

Any question that asks which do you like better, etc. shouldn’t even be vaild.

Also most of you people can’t spell worth a darn, either.

If you ask which is better, Heores or 24, how can I answer that? If you ask which show has more viewers or higher ratings, that’s one thing. Or is you ask which show will I watch, that’s a valid question. It’s probably irrelevant which show I will watch, and you should watch whichever one you like better.

If you just want us to tell you which show you should watch, maybe you should just go read a book.

Well, I’ve thought about it and you guys are right, there really is no reason that a question that is asking for an opinion for a response isn’t a valid question. It certainly is.

This question had more than a few good answerers, and I chose this one as a best answer, because it made me think, amd also asked a questin back to me. In her response he mentions a Y!A question that asked for "Who’s your favorite couple for DWTS (Dancing with the Stars)." And yes, I do see how that is a valid question, although would it be as valid to ask who’s the best couple? If I had a favorite couple on DWTS, I would know who my favorite couple would be, because that’s my call to make. But is it my call to say who the "Best" couple is. Who decides what the criteria for determining best is.
