Come on, the Who is at 50% of its original members, a 70′s band, and its singer, Roger Daltrey can barely sing anymore. Their performance is sad, washed up, and terrible. What are your suggestions for a band the Super Bowl commission should have signed this year, or who they should sign on next year?
maybe a more modern band?

TO: Those who watched / who are watching the 6 – 10:30 eastern Time FOX Network broadcast of the Minnesota – New Orleans FB championship play-off for the rights to advance to the Feb. 7 Super Bowl.
Was his a capella version good – bad – indifferent? 10 points for best review – analysis – interpretation.
Thanks for posting

There is an old clip from the 1970′s on NFL Films where there is this guy singing at Three Rivers Stadium. He has an accent and is singing something about the Super Bowl down on the field. Who in the heck is that guy and what is he singing. I must have seen this clip 25 or 30 times over the years.

It’s the song from the miller lite commercial where the dalmation dogs begin chasing a miller lite truck down the road. I believe it was one of the super bowl commercials. I know it is a classic rock song, but I don’t know the name or who sings it!

I am trying to find video of an old SNL skit where Horatio Sanz plays Aaron Neville and is singing at the Super Bowl. I believe it aired in February 4th 2006. I have checked YouTube, Hulu, NBC.com and Ovguide.com and nothing. Can anyone help?

He sits up there singing and making lame jokes and he talks way too much. Boy I miss Summerall and Madden. From the Frozen Tundra, Candlestick Park, Texas Stadium, man they were great! I am glad that FOX doesn’t get the Super Bowl every year,so we won’t have to hear Joe Buck. Baseball, fine. But not football.

Ok, now I watched throughout the gane last night players injuring themselves fue to the wet turf and Prince singing Purple Rain. I also noticed it rained throughout the whole game. This got me to thinking, out of all the Super Bowls, which one was the wettest?
The PREIOUS Super Bowl was in a dome. Just be glad the rain we got all that day saved us from the 6 to 10 inches of snow they were forecasting.

During half time at the Super Bowl XLI, Prince sang a segment of "The Best of You" by the Foo Fighters. Did Prince write that song? Or did Foo give him permission to sing it?

Ok, it’s Friday night but it’s wet and cold outside so I’m staying in…
I plan to watch the NFL playoffs which by the way are usually better games than the overhyped Super Bowl. I’m tired of hearing John Mellencamp singing "This is ooooour Counntry" at every timeout. Hey GM, try making cars people actually want to drive instead spending millions on ad campaigns for gas guzzling trucks. What about that creepy little girl saying enigmatically saying "it’s the mirrors". Why not talk about how awesome this TV is instead of some box with a light emanating from it and an elephant for no reason? I don’t recall who makes that TV anyways. NFL games have got to be one of the most commercialized time slots in TV. Sorry about the rant…I’m bored I guess.
