what can help me breathe easier when singing a fast song?
I’m in a band wit my friends and we’re going to perform in front of our school before school is out(2 more weeks) and one of the songs we’re singing is "High School Never Ends" By Bowling for Soup and I’m the lead singer. The chorus is pretty fast and doesn’t have a lot of time to take in a breath, so are there any tips that anyone can give me to make it easier for me to sing that part without putting that little strain that I put to my voice.

It’s not really that fast, so you can manage to take a breath every four lines. You should be able to take a big enough breath between these parts to sing it. If not, then you need to practice breath control more so you can.
[Breathe]
The whole damn world is just as obsessed
With who’s the best dressed
And who’s having sex
[Breathe]
Who’s got the money
Who’s got the honeys
Who’s kinda cute
And who’s just a mess
If that doesn’t work, then listen to the song carefully and see where he breathes and you can match your breathing to his or you can even skip the "Who’s" if you really need to breathe, just as long as you keep up with the beat.
theres always a pause in evey song…
in that pause breathe!! even if its a quick one it’ll work!!!
