When will my antibiotics start working for my tonsillitis?

I had tonsillitis about a month ago and 2 days ago it just randomly came back and i haven’t eaten since and its been difficult to swallow fluids but ive had some water and a bowl of soup and a few ice lollies.. last time i had it, it lasted about 2-3 days before i was able to sing and eat and drink! there are no white spots this time either, the antibiotics dint seem to be working yet although they are different from the ones i had last time..

If you are not starting to get better within 48 hours, give your doctor a call. It is possible that you need a different antibiotic or that what you have is viral and so an antibiotic can not cure it.
